Loneliness

I am used to loneliness as well
As born with it as I didn't have a lot
Of friends as a kid nor do I as an adult
As I count my family as friends!

Anthony, simply put: people may mis-interpret what someone means, based on the way they were brought up. Also, women's emotions are very close to the surface. What might not hurt men when we hear something would hurt a woman, possibly, if she heard the same thing. It's a matter of perception and perspective.

Hey everyone! I just wanted to tell ya'll that I've decided not to go the ministry I was previously telling ya'll about.

At my last doctor visit they put me on meds for depression/anxiety and it's worked very well. Even my family has noticed a huge difference in my attitude. School has also helped a huge deal. Also hopefully getting into a bible study group soon will help even more. For the first time in 5 yrs I feel my life is finally coming together. I'm not saying I'll have no more bad days I probally will but right now life is....great. I have total peace about my descision. I feel great about it. I know now that some girl who need Mercy 2000 times more than me can get the help she needs. That makes me feel wonderful! I hope you all don't get mad at me for my decision. I promise your prayers didn't go to waste and it wasn't for nothing!

I want to thank each and everyone one of you who has lifted up a prayer for me about this ministry and my loneliness/depression etc. You have no idea how much it means to me. What ya'll mean to me. I seriously wouldn't have gotten through all this without ya'll. I really mean that. I love you all!

I hear ya on family being your friends. Most of my friends are my family.

This may sound weird but even though I feel better emotionally I still haven't been to social. My mom is out of town this weekend (won't be back till tomorrow) and I miss her because she's one of my best friends. So I thought maybe I could call a friend to do something today. Sad thing is though. I still have no friends. Sorry to be a downer today ya'll.

Small Update:
The bible study leader still hasn't contacted me yet but I'm hoping that's gonna change soon. Maybe I should've joined another one but none of them really fit the description that I needed. (i.e age/location)

Lonliness sounds so negative. I enjoy being by myself alot of the time. But I guess it's the "being single" lonliness. idk, being single seems like freedom to me.

Singing, your social life will gradually improve. As you risk by reaching out, you will gain some confidence. Also, have you thought about doing any volunteer work? This is one way to network and build up your social contacts. Volunteer work can be in any form, hospital, church, civic, etc. The more you do, the easier it becomes. It will also help you bring yourself out of constantly focusing on yourself and focusing on others instead. You'll be surprised at the difference. Also have a bit of a sense of humor and please don't be too sensitive to what others say about you. They're not in your shoes.

Hey everyone! I have a few spare moments before heading to class so i thought I would pop in and say hey!

I volunteered at church today and it went great! I wish I could go more but with school and all I can't. I so wish I could get a job there. I think It would be the perfect place for me to work. Great people and enviorment. That's totally up to the Lord though.


I finally get to go to RUF tonight and see my bff! I'm so excited!

Anthony, in Nursing, with the 2-yr. program you're taking, you're going to be bombarded fast and furiously with academics and clinicals. They will expect you to have a balanced social life and work life. As hard as it sounds, that's the reality.

I was accused of not getting any exercise OR socializing!! What the instructors didn't want to realize were these: a 4-mile walk to & from the hospital (1 mi away from home x4 /day) and taking time to go to the Chapel for Mass when they were demanding the spiritual aspect of our lives to be practised, was a bit too much for them to bear. I innocently put them to shame! I was "socializing" with my Maker!

Haha, I know. I'm telling my wife (My pda) that friday's after my test is for messing around, and doing the opposite of nursing....stupid and funny things with my friends . It's just a change from the college experience, and my college/frat friends who are like "lets go do random stuff" and i'm like "lets check my with my wife first!"

Yep! But my relaxing time is CF forums, PMing people, and facebook! But it's not that bad really. I can't stand not being busy. I almost went insane with two weeks off from school. I would pace around the houes, bored out of my mind! Maybe I really do need to find a real wife to take up my extra time
