  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I hope things get better for you.

I've had days when I thought things couldn't get any worse, and they got worse. But you just keep plugging away till things get better and better.

Unfortunately, part of knowing what is good, is knowing what is not good.

Thanks.:)

You are being truthful and honest. You have shown you are struggling with life, and with God. Struggle is an evidence of a deep and real faith.

If you read in the OT.... Jacob was renamed Israel by God....because Jacob fought and struggled with God.

Who did God use to be the founder of the Israel nation? A man...who struggled with God, lied, stole, and twist our his family....God used this person. God know what he was, but God saw what he could be! He wasn't the perfect holy man....who known all the right scripture verses, acted perfect and holy, or even knew all the right spiritual words. So in the same way...no matter how you look at yourself...God sees what you can become!

You are feeling everything perfectly normal. Everything you can be going through...you are expressing the right emotions.

If this was all other something very silly like....your mom not buying you an outfit..haha, yeah we would be kind of upset :).

God bless sister!

I think that empathy is one of the rarest of things, and to know that somebody else feels as you do is something to be treasured. I thank you for sharing your troubles, however little you make think they are, they give some empathy to everybody. Furthermore, it makes my troubles seem infinitely less, when I look at other people's, thank you for that.

There's nothing to apologize for by being honest! I find empathy is what binds us in this earthly life as friends. We can agree or "put ourselves in the other person's shoes" as we journey with them, reassuring the struggling person that they're not alone. God is with us ALWAYS!!

I thpught that the numbers wouldn't be high in the classes, Singing.

There's about 20 something in my other 3 classes. I wasn't expecting only 5 in my other one! I'm surprised they didn't cancel the class all together. I'm only taking it to get my 12 hrs in. It has nothing to do with what I'm doing. I wanted to take a photography class or something but nothing was available. So yeah I'm pretty much stuck.:D

I'm happy to hear that!

Can you'll be praying for me? I have begun nursing school wednesday, but i really get "hit" by it this upcoming Wednesday. I have 11 chapters to read before the first day of Pharm class.

I'm excited, about the challenge that is coming up. But I'm also kind of afraid that I will get lazy and fail. I have a 3.80/4.00 GPA....but i'm used to doing less than 10 hours of homework a week. Now...while nursing I'm going up to 25-30 hours a week of homework, not including 20 hours for class/clinicals.

Thanks!

Consider it done, Anthony! Like I mentioned earlier, you're in for an intense course load. Pharmacology will be the most difficult by far. I'm not trying to scare you; rather, I'm letting you know what to expect. What you described about the homework volume is normal for Nursing. Keep plugging away at it! you'll get through it! :)

Anatomy and physiology (A&P) can be demanding as well, but not as much as the pharmacology. Please ask God to guide you also. With Him, everything is possible!

Haha, i have already had A & P. My professor was lazy....to teach us...she handed us out copies of this study guide that went to the book. She would talk maybe 30 minutes over the chapter, and we would have the test in a couple of days.

Our test...was mostly the study guide...the exact questions, and answers....copied onto a piece of paper. So yeah...

Aye, I know Pharm will be hard. The teacher is one of those really really strict, hard professor that you hate the first day of class, but you fall in love with them and become your favorite over time. I had her Pathophysiology. i learned so much!
