On the popcorn questions:

Do you use your own machine? Yup, we got one as a wedding present, because someone knew that ours had died. :)

Is microwave stuff ok - the Greens stuff is good? I don't eat much of the microwaved stuff, mainly because I don't eat much popcorn and when I do we have the popcorn machine.

What do you put on it - butter and salt, or something else. Um, I drown mine in icing sugar. :sorry: Soooooo good!!! :D

What is your opinofion Kernels? :yum: YUUUUUMMMY :yum:

Is movie popcorn the epitamy of all popcorn experiences? NO!! The cinema stuff is always too salty for me. I remember once my lips actually cracked from the saltiness drying them out so bad. I reckon cinema popcorn ruins the movie experience as well as the popcorn experience.

high salt content = buy more drinks, but sometimes they go too far.

I had a friend who used to do the icing sugar thing.... not so keen myself.

Typical way to sell what are in essence pretty overpriced foods. Although I recall that on the day we went to Cronulla, it was 2 medium drinks and 2 medium boxes of popcorn for $10...which I thought was pretty reasonable :)

Ok - I've been to the Green's website. They are listed as one of their products. They are part of the Poppin brand I think. I typed Lolly Gobble Bliss Bombs (not one word) into google. They came up as a re-release in 2004 in their annual report. There were quite a few sites that came up.

Other things I learnt. They are a vegan snack, so when your vegan friends come around you now know what to serve.... well as a snack.... I guess you could just go for popcorn in general. And they now make it in butterscotch as well as the original caramel.

Here's a site that sells them.

I think I still prefer the original silver packet.

Okay, I had the chance to sample Hoyts popcorn yesterday arvo - not too bad...a little bit salty, but the taste wasn't too overpowering. However, I gotta say that the steak I had for dinner was bellissimo!! :yum: But this isn't a thread about steak, so I'll stop there :p
