WOW! You DO live in a big suburb don't you? Sorry, never give away what I eat out here same as I never fully expose our slang out here.
Lollygobleblissbombs? You mean Yackadoobytruestroms I think.

Well, I guess you could call Australia one big suburb now, with all the shopping centres having the same shops from Singleton to Timbucktoo. I'm talking about the sort of munchies you'd find in any Woolworths or Coles, etc, store.
Sorry, never heard of Yackadoobytruestroms, Bev.

No Coles or Woolworths anywhere near me. Coles shut down 20 years ago. Dunno what happened to Woolworths. The population wanes when the properties get bigger and the big shops pack up and run. No big stores where I live.

I thought that you could still buy polywaffles????

We can! Had one the other day.

Yackadoobytruestroms,
They're yummy! Off the market now though in my little town.

I think I've seen LGBB (I'm too lazy to type the whole lot :p) very recently...however I don't like them. I'm a popcorn purist and have never had an affinity with coloured or sweet flavoured popcorn :)

what traits mark a popcorn purist.

Do you use your own machine?
Is microwave stuff ok - the Greens stuff is good?
What do you put on it - butter and salt, or something else.
What is your opinofion Kernels?
Is movie popcorn the epitamy of all popcorn experiences?

Hahahaha!! ^_^ I guess when I say popcorn purist I mean slightly salted or buttered. :D But to answer your questions:

Do you use your own machine? Yup - a little green Black and Decker one...does a good job I gotta say :)
Is microwave stuff ok - the Greens stuff is good?
I enjoy the microwaved stuff, yes
What do you put on it - butter and salt, or something else. Only a teensy bit of butter and salt - too much I find to negate the healthiness of the air-popped kernel
What is your opinofion Kernels? I shouldn't eat the unpopped or half popped ones...:D
Is movie popcorn the epitamy of all popcorn experiences? Nup - it eats too much into my wallet.

Yes - but what about the taste of movie popcorn?

I was meaning Kernels the shop.... but I think you may know that. I love walking through Miranda Fair and smelling it from three floors up.
they do have an exception to the sweet rule too.... some extra creamy caramel or something like that - it's rather nice.

Ah...I think there's one in Wesfield Penrith, but I hardly ever take any notice of it, and I didn't know that was what you were referring to  Taste wise, I haven't had movie popcorn since about May when I went to the cinemas down in Cronulla with Lauren (lozzie) - tasted pretty decent from what I recall. :)

My mum lives near cronulla cinemas - that's where we go, when we are in sydney, to see movies.

I saw luther a few months back - that's the last time I had popcorn at the movies, and the only time since we moved at the beginning of last year.

you should try kernels sometime - they even have low fat stuff.
