  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Well this news isn't exactly new but I haven't seen anybody talking about here so what do you all think about this year's Lollapalooza lineup. It's a 2 day touring festival this year. Incase you still haven't seen the lieups, here's the main acts.

Day 1: Morrisey, Sonic Youth, PJ Harvey, Modest Mouse, Le Tigre, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, The Von Bondies, Danger Mouse, & more

Day 2: String Chesse Incident, The Flaming Lips, Pixies, Basement Jaxx, Wilco, Micheal Franti & Spearhead, Gomez, The Polyphonic Spree, TV On The Radio, & more

Mike Watt + The Secondmen, Bumblebeez 81, & more will be performing both days on a solar energized stage.

You forgot the Pixies, although I think they're only playing a couple of dates in California, maybe. Not sure exactly, but I remember I was bummed that I couldn't see them.

I'm going to Cuyahoga, Ohio on August 9-10 (I think, not exactly sure of the date). I cannot wait; Modest Mouse, Sonic Youth, and the Flaming Lips are three of my favorite bands.

I didn't forget Pixies look at day 2 again. The group I'm most looking forward to myself is Modest Mouse!

Ah, oops, must've overlooked them. Sorry man! Yeah, I'm looking forward to MM alot too; I need to get their new album sometime before the show, so I can know the songs they'll be playing.

I figured you would like them. I want to see them, if possible, while I'm there. Jam bands are usually fun live. Just wish it was Phish :(

Me too! Even though I'm not going, I think everyone should see a Phish show.
