I would really like for it to happen! The thread that I originally posted in GT is 8 pages long now and still going (see #21), so there appears to be significant interest!

I think that a forum section dedicated to liturgical music and chanting would allow people from different denominations to learn about and share various kinds of Christian liturgical music in an organized and topical based manner, as there are many different sub-topics related to the topic itself which could be discussed.

There are major websites dedicated to this traditional expression of Christian worship (see liturgica.com) and i think that us being a Christian forum we deserve to have a section dedicated to such

I really like this idea. I believe that such a forum would not only be a place for all of us to share and discuss our diverse liturgical traditions and practices, but it could become a go-to resource for Cantors, Organists, Choir Masters and even Clergy who desire to enhance worship within their own traditions.

I think the reason for the suggestion to open a thread somewhere and see how it goes is that they don't want to create a new forum and have it die out if there's not enough members posting in it.

What is GT ? I would never use abbreviation except as repetition.
I think that this is a great idea ,but where to find it .It must be easily accessible.

sorry, GT means general theology...it would be visible on the main page, under the music section if it were to be implemented.
