While there are local traditions where white and even purple are used for funerals; "officially" the colour of the season would be used for funerals.I should also add, traditional Catholics, Anglicans and Lutherans continue to use black vestments, as they ought so to do. Indeed, I advocate for the general and widespread reintroduction of black in all context except for individual funerals, where white is the color traditionally used by the Orthodox, with black only being used under RC influence.
The Coptic and Syriac Orthodox rites use black during Holy Week as well.

Our Parish's practice is a white pall, but paraments remain the colour of the season. Some Churches have matching palls for every colour; while economy may have been a factor, in our funeral Liturgy after the Introit there is a remembrance of Baptism, and the similarity of the white pall and the white garment placed on the newly baptized child id great symbolism. After all, are we not robed in white, being cleansed by the blood of the Lamb? Note the white Pall and the Green Paraments of Common Time.Interesting. I've only seen White used for funerals.
The priest wore green last night since Sunday takes precedence over Michaelmass, but still a great feast day!

I do not think a Ferial Sunday should take place over the feast of St. Michael. The pripritization of ferial propers actually goes back to Pope St. Pius X, who I generally like, who was trying to compensate for the ferials inevitably getting displaced, which I can understand, but its a sort or case of solving one problem and creating another.
My own preferred approach is rubrics which provide for combining feasts with ferial Sundays according to a pattern, with something like Michaelmas obviously taking priority.
Major Festivals always take priority over Ferial Sundays in our tradition, however there are congregations who chose not to celebrate some of the Historic feasts like St. Michael; their loss. Someone dropped the ball today and kept the camera rolling; they caught me stripping the white after the service to put the green back on. LOL.
One of the reasons Churches don't change much is they may have no one to do those changes. Since the start of Covid, I became the default Altar Guild; still stuck in the position of Sacristan. LOL
