You mean like admitting they were wrong about the last discovery and moving on to the next discovery and then soon realizing they were wrong again? What do you mean?
Scientists are as confident as they can be in their conclusions based on the evidence they have available.
It's essential that they are able to adapt according to new evidence and discoveries.
You mean like admitting they were wrong about the last discovery and moving on to the next discovery and then soon realizing they were wrong again?
Not all scientists are so adapted to being wrong.

What if I told you I could disprove the "different state past" scripturally?
You know nothing of the sort. It is opinion as to the extent of the division that went on, some feel it was more, and others less. The extent would not be seen from one verse, but from a comparison to before and after. Obviously there was more changed than just nation!! Gong..I've tried doing that. Dad will ask for a scriptural argument, and when he gets one, he ignores it. I've tried with the whole Pangea breaking up misinterpretation of "the split" during the days of Peleg that dad bases much of his dadology on. I've shown how this refers to the tribes of Man, not to the earth itself, but he just ignores me.
In any case, go for it.
I would say find a thread that deals in that sort of thing, and go ahead and make a fool of yourself tryingWhat if I told you I could disprove the "different state past" scripturally?
False. It can't admit what it doesn't even know yet! They do not know all their past models and premises for them are trash yet.The strength of science is that it does admit when it is wrong, and tries to prove itself wrong all of the time.
They are right and can never be wrong...unless they stepped out into guessing at why they were right and science was wrong!Compare this to creationists who refuse to be wrong, and will not accept any evidence as demonstrating that they are wrong.
That is a little rule for manscience, that is wrong so often it isn't funny any more. They have no choice but to keep admitting it over and over.Admitting that you are wrong is miles better than the dogmatic ignorance of creationism.
We know when it was written. It was in this state and time. However, since God wrote it by proxy, it was written in another state! Please explain how someone could not have written the Bible in a same state past.
That depends who looks at them. For some, everything is consistent with their delusions of choice. How are they inconsistent with a same state past?
Why am I not allowed to use evidence to support a same state past?
OK. If you folks are listening, the dreamlands and alternate creation fibs of manscience has NOTHING to do with vaccines or antibiotics! They may have something to do with God's created trait of evolving, but that is another matter altogether.Tell that to people who take vaccines or antibiotics.
You seem to be missing something big here. It is me chasing, not running! Soon, God will chase the wicked right off the planet. There will be nowhere to hide.LOL, dad... good one. But not to worry.... there are plenty of islands that the militaries of the world know nothing about. Just build yourself a raft (be sure to not use any products of "manscience") and take it out to sea. Pick an azimuth and hopefully you will find an island with fresh water and coconut trees. Don't forget your KJV1611 bible.
The only "Gong!" is for you dad. If you look at the context of the split, it clearly refers to the division of the Tribes of Man. If God were splitting the continents apart why bother with confounding their language?? Your interpretation makes no sense (as usual). You know nothing of the sort. It is opinion as to the extent of the division that went on, some feel it was more, and others less. The extent would not be seen from one verse, but from a comparison to before and after. Obviously there was more changed than just nation!! Gong..
In other words, God's One True Prophet on Earth doesn't want to hear his interpretation of scripture is all wrong.I would say find a thread that deals in that sort of thing, and go ahead and make a fool of yourself trying
So, in other words... evolution has nothing to do with... evolution... you heard it here first people! Yes, creationist thinking at its best!OK. If you folks are listening, the dreamlands and alternate creation fibs of manscience has NOTHING to do with vaccines or antibiotics! They may have something to do with God's created trait of evolving, but that is another matter altogether.
Yeah, yeah.. another empty threat from God's One true Prophet on Earth, dad the Blasphemer. You seem to be missing something big here. It is me chasing, not running! Soon, God will chase the wicked right off the planet. There will be nowhere to hide.
Hey, here will do. Why the drumrole? Not in this thread?
No one said the splitting of continents CAUSED the language division. God caused that. I wonder if a nature change might have been one way to affect the brain in a way that affected how words were processed or some such. The division of nations goes hand in hand with the sudden inability for most people to communicate with each other. Looking at the hallmarks of that time just before Babel, and the time right after, we can see huge differences in basic fundamentals of life here. For example the separation of spirits. Before Babel it seems apparent that there was a spirit level not too high up, which they tried to build up to. We also saw that in the days of Noah it was mentioned that angels married women. So there was a closeness of man and spirits that just ceased to exist about that time. Again, that is a division, as for nations and languages, and some feel that this was also when the division of the old joined land mass was also. One cannot say that the division was limited to say, just nations. If you look at the context of the split, it clearly refers to the division of the Tribes of Man. Man and animals and plants evolved as fast as lightning I assume before the time of the split. I can out evolution you anytime. Evolving started with the created creatures, and was nothing like the foolish first lifeform fable that manscience propagates. So, in other words... evolution has nothing to do with... evolution... you heard it here first people! Yes, creationist thinking at its best!
Do you really need Scriptures to show we will rule and reign with Christ, and that He will come back and judge the world and send the wicked away?? You thought that was blasphemy? Pathetic.Yeah, yeah.. another empty threat from God's One true Prophet on Earth, dad the Blasphemer.
I said it would be irrelevant to confuse man's language if God was going to physically split them apart by breaking up the continents. I never claimed that your fantasy about splitting up continents caused the confusion of languages. No one said the splitting of continents CAUSED the language division. God caused that. Sure, you can make up anything you feel like with dadology. Forget reality or even what scripture clearly states... just add to it and claim its "God's Word."Man and animals and plants evolved as fast as lightning I assume before the time of the split. No, I think your adding to scripture is blasphemy.Do you really need Scriptures to show we will rule and reign with Christ, and that He will come back and judge the world and send the wicked away?? You thought that was blasphemy? Pathetic.

Nothing made up at all about the tower of Babel or the marrying of the sons of god. You make no sense.More adding to scripture with your made up nonsense about "separation of spirits."

Believing the recorded clear stories and noting the differences they contain that are in contrast to today's world is childlike faith, and belief. No, I think your adding to scripture is blasphemy.
Too bad that the scripture doesn't say anything about physically dividing the land.Apparently God didn't agree with your speculation. Perhaps not each language group wafted off on a land mass! The idea of division of land as well as nations as well as tongues did not mean that every nation needed to be on a different continent, or every different tongue.
There is also nothing in scripture saying that there was a separation between the spiritual and physical at this point. One might be able to make an argument for such an event at the time of The Fall, since God walked among Adam and Eve before The Fall , but not after.Nothing made up at all about the tower of Babel or the marrying of the sons of god. You make no sense.
You're the one unable to cope with basic simple facts of scripture... that's why you feel the need to add to it.Both the tower of Babel and the sons of god marrying daughters of men are anything but made up actually, that is impishly juvenile. Neither are the long life spans made up, or the apparent fast plant growth, and etc etc. You seem unable to cope with basic simple facts of Scripture.
More like childish faith and belief.Believing the recorded clear stories and noting the differences they contain that are in contrast to today's world is childlike faith, and belief.
We do have science also. Kind of like using both sides of our brain, or availing ourselves of more than just one portion of the available information.Too bad that the scripture doesn't say anything about physically dividing the land.
