Little Hands

[Storm Chaser]

When I was teaching a class of 3 & 4 year olds we used this poem added with a plaster print of each childs hads as a gift for Mom and Dad.

Sometimes you get discouraged
Because I am so small
And always leave my fingerprints
On furniture and walls.

But every day I'm growing -
I'll be grown some day
And all those tiny handprints
Will surely fade away.

So here's a little handprint
Just so you can recall
Exactly how my fingers looked
When I was very small.

Short and sweet but I thought I'd add it after Story Tellers post "Memos From You child". May God bless all the little children of the world.

Ahh, how cute. I just recently put a handprint on the frig my 4 year old made for me when she was with her nana. I'm going to give one to my mother as a gift in a cute frame. She loves those types of things.

I did that the other day after painting the hallway. Bobbie didn't like it so now I have to paint the Livingroom too..
