Listening to the call (with your help!)

Very early in my life, I realized I had a special connection to my faith. More recently, I have been thinking more and more about joining a seminary. But, I also have a girlfriend and think of my future with a spouse.
I know that God wants only the best for me. School, sports, friends, and my faith are all very important to me. How can I decide which path to take? What else can anyone tell me about the priesthood? or other religious life?

This is odd for me because i truly have seperated myself from secular movies and the like....but recently i had seen spiderman 2. I feel that the struggle that is shown there is very much the same as one who serves The Lord in ministry! As a pastor you must give your life entirely to the call! If you are married or about to be married, that person must be willing to allow you to do so.....and it is best if they are just as much involved!

Pray, my friend.....follow the call that God has put on your life.....even if you give up everything and serve Him, you will recieve o' so much more in return than you could have ever had here on earth.....for truly nothing compares to knowing and serving Jesus Christ our Lord!

I feel that I may have the same calling. But for me, right now, it's just a feeling. All we can do is keep on praying God's will for our lives and He will open and close doors. Just keep praying, God will move you in the right direction.
