  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

1. Let someone who has less stuff than you, go in front of you in the grocery store line.
2. Compliment someone you don't know.
3. Pay the toll for the car behind you.

That's just three...but there are so many things, little politenesses that are kind to do all the time. Like holding a door for someone. Putting the devider block down [i[after[/i] your stuff on the conveyer belt at the grocery store. Saying "excuse me" nicely, when you get in someone's way. Say "thank you". Say "please". Make eye contact. Ask someone how they're doing like you really care, not because it's just something you say. See whatever needs to be done and just be thoughtful and helpful. These are all little kindnesses that don't cost you anything, and may make all the difference to someone else. I kid you not. Lack of kindness and common courtesy was a big reason I left California. Hostile angry place. A person can not survive in a world that screams "I don't care about you! Get out of my way!" It has a way of hardening them and making them scream it back after awhile. Anyway...
