I love Linking Park. But sometimes i try to keep away from them cos some of their stuff gets me down, brings be back to the BC me. Same with Evanesence. I relate to the lyrics all too well.

i am sooooooooo incredibly sick of that song it's not funny. i used to really love linkin park... now i found better, more musicaly talented bands. i still listen to them sometimes and i respect them, but a band just seems to lose all it's appeal to me when 13 year olds are walking around singing songs that they have no clue what the meaning is... eh...

You can always see bits and pieces of their lyrics copied from other bands. Like for example, "caught in the undertow, just caught in the undertow". I can't help but think of a Tool song when I hear that line.

I don't know if there is a certain type of rock or any music that is "pure", but I think that music should always be progressive. For this reason, I view Jet as an alright band with catchy songs, but I don't think they are really changing rock.

I've heard quite alot of songs from the collaboration. A friend of mine had me listen to it. I guess it's alright if you're into that kind of thing.

I agree - the way that LP have used electronica in their songs has been more of an innovation than a resurrection.
