Thank you for the offer, but I'm just going to buy it when it comes out. Although I am very anxious to hear it, as I love Tool and I have much hope that this album will be very good, I think it's alot more exciting to go to a record store and buy the album, then bring it home and play it. But maybe that's just me.

i'm going to wait. i usually have a hard time waiting for releases, and tool's lateralus is one of my favorite cd's. i'd rather just wait it out.

To be honest, I have never listened to Tool. I only heard Schzism or however it is spelt.

People say good things about them and I enjoy all types of music. I'll find the new album on the net on my own in two seconds, haha.

But is there anything to recommend by them? A specific song or even album?

I heard 'Vicarious' on the radio the other day, it was excellent. I'm so excited to hear this album..

the album is great. the album art is brilliant. this cd really seems like a mix of aenima and lateralus.

I was actually thinking the same thing, as with it being similar to Aenima and Lateralus combined. Alot of the songs have more of the musical style of Lateralus, but the album is more of a medley of sound like Aenima was, as Lateralus's songs flowed together more.

Great album, it is. I got it yesterday, and I listened to it for the second time today, and it's definitely another album that grows on you after you listen to it twice, and I'm assuming continued listens will be great as well. They're touring in my area in a few weeks, but I just found out 2 days ago, so tickets are sold out..gah! That would have been such a great show. Oh well, I'm still glad that I have the new album and that it's excellent.

Also yes, the album art was fantastic. It took me a little while to figure out how to use the lenses with the pictures, but once I did it was awesome. Especially the one with the Egyptian-looking figure, if you move your head a bit the picture almost seems to move along with it. Quite amazing.
