Inspiration for the day...
Even a small star
shines in the darkness.

Prayer for the day ...
Father, sometimes I attach such importance to
material things. Help me to remember that all I
own is meant to be shared with the many who
have not been as blessed as I.  Amen

Thought for the day ...
Love talked about can be easily turned aside,
but love demonstrated is irresistible.

Prayer for the day ...
Father, I need to stop what I am doing this moment
and remember that I am loved by You as if I were
Your only child. Thank You for that steadfast love.

Spend so much time on improving yourself
that you have no time left to criticize others.

I pray for Your Spirit of understanding to fill
my heart when I have been offended.

Father, help me to focus on

not just in the early morning
but all through the day.

Lord, smother my moments of anger with Your love.
