About 30 years ago, I had a dream where I was standing staring out of my kitchen window. As I looked out the window, there were birds, which looked like crows or eagles or some kind of bird anyway, they were on rooftops, power lines, trees, and all over the ground. It scared me. Since the birds were everywhere that would mean one couldn't easily escape from them. So did circumstances 30 years ago make you feel trapped? Were you being verbally attacked on all sides? Maybe someone was always ready to pounce on your every move with criticisms and such?

No, actually my life then was pretty good. I could basically do whatever I wanted to. People who knew me didn't say much to me out of the way. Back then I was pretty out spoken. and said what I thought. Not a whole lot different then today, lol. If you ever saw the movie The Birds from years ago, it was like that, but they were on my property, and the surrounding houses, and just everywhere. That was the most realistic dream that I have ever had. I believe for some reason, the Lord brought it to my memory again recently, because I hadn't thought about it in a long time.

It's been awhile since we had any contact,

I have a recurring dream that I have several times a month or even a couple times a week. I have been having this dream since I was a young kid.
I am in the middle of an Indian village and there is a celebration going on, The celebration is for the successful hunt that day and the day before. At one point the Chief stands up and asks for the blessing of thankfulness for the food that was gathered to feed everyone. To my surprise, I am the Shaman of the tribe and I give the blessing and ask that we continue to be successful in the future hunting.
I have a couple tattoos on my arms of a bear claw and a large dreamcatcher, Plus, on the nites when I can't sleep, I have a tape of Indian woodwind and chanting that I listen to which helps me to relax enough to get to sleep.

Do you have any insight to what this means and what the significance of this dream is ? I hope you can help me, I have been wondering about this for years .

Hmmm did you have your dream before the Bird movie or after? If twas after, then would explain why your dream was so vivid and would also allude to what was influencing you. The dream could have been more from the movie than Divine. Plus, if God was trying to forewarn you of something about to happen, He would have made certain you got clear instructions.

Is the above part of your dream or what you do to go to asleep? If it's what you do to sleep, then that would be why your Indian dreams would be reoccurring.

On the nites when I really have trouble getting to sleep, I listen to this tape. The dreams usually occur on nites when I am really troubled by something that I can't control, Like financial stuff or my health problems. To answer your question, Do they happen on the nites when I listen to the tape ? No. It happens really sporadicly. Not any connection to the tape that I have noticed.
It is strange tho, This is something that has happened since I was about 7 or 8.

Dear Humblebee, I just woke up from the strangest dream!

I have prayed about this and while I can see some spiritual significance to things in the dream (Like the colors brown and yellow representing sickness and evil) i don't feel this was any type of warning from God. I think that this is a dream from the devil who is trying to get you stirred up and scared. If you would like to share anymore details about the dream with me feel free to PM me.

One part, I was opening up my communion cup (my church uses those sealed little cups with the juice in it) and when I took the lid off I saw that the juice had congealed and hardened and had become a solid.

Secondly, in another part of my dream I got an acceptance letter to Fuller Seminary's Boston campus. There is no Boston campus!! I live in Ohio but did use to live in New England if that helps, also I did recently apply to a local 2 year biblical studies program and have had fleeting thoughts of granduer about maybe going to Fuller someday for a master's or Ph.D.

I feel like God is trying to tell you something else maybe God is trying to tell you that you have some how forsaken His blood. I am not saying that you are backslidden, (but if you are get right!!) I am however saying that maybe you have forgotten the importance of the blood of christ in your life and what it does foryou? The second part about the college i believe is saying that the enemy is trying to direct you the wrong steps for your life. Going somewhere that doesnt exist in dreams can be very very dangerous territory...........

Ok...here goes.... This past week in sermons, bible study, etc the word "dig" keeps noticably coming up. In addition last night I had a dream where I was shoveling moist dirt and a hand came up! I bend down and grab the hand and pull a person up. The person thanks me and tells me there a many more beneath me that are trying to get out. What's going on with this-I'm clueless!

Believing its message be about people EEEEEEEAGER to come to Christ for resurrection life and eternal salvation! Without Jesus, they are destined for decay in the grave ...that would explain their gratitude for you helping raising them up, by giving them knowledge of the gospel! I'm afraid to post in here, honestly :o . I've never shared my experiences with anyone other than the people I trust the most.

Well, here it goes:
I think I had a vision a few days ago. I don't know what you can and cannot define as a vision, but I think this might of been one.
In my thoughts I was taken somwhere, I felt like I was in a dream. I was standing on the beach looking out towards the sea. In the distance I saw the sun going down, but it was strange. The sun was HUGE and it looked like it was falling onto the earth, rather than just setting. Once the sun 'hit', this huge light passed out over the ocean. As I saw the light coming towards me, I saw this old man standing on the ocean.... he just turned around and stared at me while he got engulfed by the light (which seemed like fire, destroying everything). I looked up and saw the stars and everything kinda fall away. Strange, hard to explain what I saw.
Can anyone tell me what this was?

I have also had three dreams where I see a huge storm.
In my first, I'm looking out the window in our dining area. In the distance over some rooftops I could see this horrible, black storm coming. The storm wasn't normal cos it was so black. Then I woke up.
The second one is where my family and I are in the car driving down a long dusty road. I think we were going to pick my mom up from work or something. We were driving through the countryside, past industrial areas and small towns. Again in the distance we could see a storm coming. Same black clouds.... and we were driving towards it.
Third dream I was half lucid, I was enjoying myself flying between clouds. As I was flying I saw those storm clouds again. I flew towards them and then saw a large city. I landed in one of the streets, where everything was chaos. I asked some people what was happening, but they just told me that 'it had no use' and 'what are you doing here, the world is ending!'. I didn't know what to do, so I asked them where the nearest church was. They pointed south, so I went south. I never got to where the church was, I asked all sorts of people along the road. I also got attacked by this zombish witch lady who was trying to claw open my hands , after asking where the church was. I kept on continuing down south, until finally this lady told me: 'What are you still doing here, you won't find what you are looking for, but you should go south'(or something like that) . All during this trip down south the storm was raging on. After I turned go the way the lady was pointing (which was south) I woke up.

*Soulwings*, Believing your vision depicts the Second Coming of Christ and your dreams the end times! The sun falling onto the earth could represent the Son! The old man could be the devil. Here are some applicable Bible verses:

THE LAKE CALLED “SERENITY”

I was worshipping the Lord and I found my spirit transported to a most exquisite place. I saw the Lord by a beautiful pond, where He was tenderly placing lilies of infinite beauty upon its tranquil surface. I noticed that each of the magnificent blooms was white and had traces of silver and gold in their stamens and on their petals. The trumpets were perfectly formed and the flowers emitted a fragrance that was indescribable in its heavenly aroma – an echo of the essence of the Love of Jesus. The expression on the Lord’s face was one of Fatherly pride and the deepest love and affection.


I AM MY LOVER'S AND MY LOVER IS MINE


“My lover has gone down to his garden to the beds of spices, to browse in the garden and to gather lilies. I am my lover’s and my lover is mine; He browses among the lilies.” Song of Songs 6:2,3

The water was a deep, azure blue and there was no hidden menace or undercurrent to it. It reflected the perfect Peace of the Savior. I immediately understood that its depths were unfathomable, as it was a reflection of the One who sustains the Universe by His powerful Word. The tenderness of the Savior surrounded this place and I felt absorbed in His beauty and peace. Unity permeated the atmosphere and Grace, Goodness and loving-kindness abounded.


EACH LILY, A CHILD OF MY OWN


I was keenly aware that there were relatively few lilies on the pond, and I sensed it was the Lord’s desire and deep longing that many more would be placed there. I drew near to the Lord and gently asked Him about the meaning of the lilies. He replied:

My precious child, This lake is called ‘Serenity’ and each of the lilies that I place on its tranquil surface represents a child of My own. These are the ones who have searched after complete union with Me with all of their hearts and whose longing for the perfect union with My Spirit have taken them through many trials and tribulations, and who, like the Shulammite, have entered into a deep and blessed union with the Bridegroom.

I love all of my children, but those who desire complete and total ownership by Me may enter into an intimacy reserved for only those who are totally devoted to laying their self-lives upon the altar of heaven, to be made holy, as I am holy. This is the place of My perfect rest and joy. This is the place of totally abiding in Me. This is the place where strife comes to an end and the life of the flesh is crucified in Me. I long for each of My beautiful children to enter into this level of intimacy with Me. It is not for the select few but for all who will hear the call and who are willing to be co-crucified with Me.


THEY DO NOT LABOR OR SPIN!


Consider how the lilies grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you, not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today, and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, how much more will be clothe you, O you of little faith. And do not set your heart on what you will eat or drink; do not worry about it. For the pagan world runs after all such things, and your Father knows that you need them. But seek His Kingdom, and these things will be give to you as well. Lk 12:27-31

The Lord instructed me to lift my eyes and as I gazed into the horizon I saw an ocean as tranquil as the pond I had previously gazed upon, and on the ocean were many millions of lilies. The Lord spoke to my heart and said this represented a day when all striving would cease - when all of His children would enter into their promised rest in Him, dwelling eternally in His Presence and Peace and Love – a picture of eternity.

Behold, I am coming soon! My reward is with Me, and I will give to everyone according to what he has done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End. Blessed are those who wash their robes, that they might have the right to the tree of life and may go through the gates into the city...I, Jesus, have sent my angel to give you this testimony for the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, and the bright Morning Star! TO US, IN US, THROUGH US


I believe the Lord wants me to share this experience with the Body of Christ, as a word from His heart. It is His will that all enter into experiential life in the Spirit, so that it is truly no longer we who live, but Christ who lives in and through us. Some may have reached a place where the spirit has revealed Jesus to them; others may have reached a place where the Spirit reveals Christ in them. Yet it is the Lord’s desire to take us through the mountaintop experience of the purging of our souls, that the Spirit might reveal Jesus living His life through us.

I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me. I do not set aside the grace of God, for if righteousness could be gained through the law, Christ died for nothing! Gal 2:20,21


CALLED TO BE CO-CRUCIFIED WITH CHRIST


Then Jesus said to His disciples, If anyone would come after Me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will find it. What good will it be for a man if he gains the whole world, yet forfeits his soul? Or what can a man give in exchange for his soul? For the Son of Man is coming in His Father’s glory with His angels, and then He will reward each person according to what He has done. (Mt 16:24-27)

If you have not yet answered the Master’s call to enter into His Peace and rest, lift up your heart and voice with all sincerity and He will come quickly to you, precious child of God – saved or unsaved.

Do not be afraid, little flock, for your Father has been pleased to give you the kingdom. Sell you possessions and give to the poor. Provide purses for yourselves that will not wear out, a treasure in heaven that will not be exhausted, where no theif comes near and no moth destroys. For where your treasure is, there your heart will also be. Lk 12:32-34

Jesus is our treasure. What glorious peace is ours to know that our salvation is secured through His blood and that our hearts may rest in Him, both here on Earth and thereafter, in His presence throughout all Eternity.

Since you seem to have this dream when you are stressed, stands to Divine reason that it also contains the antidote to your angst, to take authority over it!

#1 Rather than getting weighed down by your worries, celebrate the successes of the day and even of the day before!

#2 Instead of dwelling on tough circumstances out of your control, give thanks to your good and Sovereign God for these victories and for His provision!

#3 Pray for your Chief Shepherd's continual blessing on your life!

#4 Recognize attacks of the devil! When he tries to strong arm you into fretting, remind him that Jesus is the Mightier One who holds your future, so you have absolutely nothing to fret about!

Not my dream, but what a message!

***once dreamed of trying to get the church door open, I thought it was stuck so I pushed hard and as it turned out there were 2 men holding the door shut. they were very angry that I had forced my way in and informed me the service had started a few minutes ago and in the future if I wanted to attend their services I would have to be on time. They then allowed me in. As I walked into the service people were dancing and shouting but the Spirit of God was not present. I was really shaken by this and ran back out of the door. I looked up in the sky as I ran out and I saw 3 moons and the face of Jesus, and He was sobbing it wasn't like a few tears but really crying.***

Your dream speaks of a legalistic church keeping the letter of the law, but not the Spirit of Love and Mercy! You found the door tough to open because you belong to Jesus and He wasn't there, so He didn't want you going to that church and was protecting you. The service was only a few minutes into starting, yet they wouldn't let you in and were angry...tiz totally irrational, unreasonable! A bad tree bears bad fruit! You knew God wasn't present because He is Love! He wouldn't be in a legalistic, loveless church. The service people can dance and shout as loud as ever, yet tiz love that will manifest His Presence. You were understandably shaken having been met with such harshness and irreverence. The Voice of Wisdom made you flee from where God is not!

The moon reflects the sun. Three moons would represent the Trinity, as the Holy Spirit is a reflection of Jesus the Son, and Jesus is a reflection of God the Father. The Trinity would be extremely grieved at legalistic churches that purport to love Him, but do not even recognize the absence of the Spirit of God! As would God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit be deeply distressed at all those coming into the church yet driven out and away from Him, as a direct result of legalistic, loveless Christians! They are a church blinded by deception. They enjoy their entertaining services, yet serve their own selfish appetites and agendas. They sing only empty praises, dancing for vainglory, as their hearts are far from Jesus, whom they think they serve. Yet they do not really know Him and subsequently are not known by Him.

You are known by Christ! Tiz exactly why He was trying to protect you from a spiritually depraved and 'supposed' house of God! Stay close to Jesus and He will lead you to where love is, where His true worshippers are, and instead of weeping, Jesus will be rejoicing and right in your midst!

Matthew 7:15-20 Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves. By their fruit you will recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? Likewise every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Thus, by their fruit you will recognize them.

John 4:23-24 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship Him. God is a Spirit: and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth.

1 Corinthians 8:3 But if any man love God, the same is known of Him.

2 Timothy 2:19 Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are His. And, let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.

I had it a while ago, and I couldn't think of a meaning for it.
In my dream I'm sitting on a bed with my two sisters in a room. The bed we are sitting on is on one side of the room, and there is another bed on the wall diagonal to it. Suddenly on our bed we see a black scorpion, a big black spider and a locust grasshoper thingy. They all run off the bed, dart around the room and under the other bed. I walk towards the bed and move it a bit, to see where the insects have gone to. We see them, and they start darting around the room again, constantly running under one bed to another. Suddenly the spider runs towards me and starts biting me.... I try and grab it, but it keep biting me and is too large to just grab. Then I wake up.
Does this have a meaning, or is it just a dream?

Suddenly on our bed we see a black scorpion, a big black spider and a locust grasshopper thingy. They all run off the bed, dart around the room and under the other bed. I walk towards the bed and move it a bit, to see where the insects have gone to. We see them, and they start darting around the room again, constantly running under one bed to another. Suddenly the spider runs towards me and starts biting me...I try and grab it, but it keep biting me and is too large to just grab. Then I wake up.

Hmmm since there are three insects and you and your two sisters (makes three), your dream could be about sibling rivalry. How well do yall get along Are they older than you (represented by the big spider) and do they give you a tough time (symbolized by the spider biting you)?
