Missyjojo88...hmmm don't really see much in this, except to say that God is always near you, looking in your direction, smiling at you and eager to love on you (surprise you), especially when you are distracted and uncertain of Him. ;) :D

In my dream I saw myself sitting on the right side of the church, which is not where I normaly sit. Most of the time I usually sit on the left side of the church. I felt that I was sitting with my family. I was surprise when I saw pastor/apostle in my church. I felt as though he came too early thus, I was not expecting him until next week.(In real life he is coming in about a week). Then the pastor went down the stand to greet people. He hugged this boy and was walking near where I was, looked at my direction and smiled. He was about to come and maybe greet us and I felt that he was unsure. When he was about to come he stopped in front of some other group some people and started talking to them (maybe he was distracted). I don't know if this has anything to do with my relationship with God.

I was wondering what it meant. I have this idea, but I am unsure. I would like help in understanding this. Thanks in advance and God Bless.

It is possible that you are down about the upcoming wedding? Either that you are not going and or not yet married yourself?

Then I see myself in another room alone me with two of the girls that was friends with the one getting married. They were sitting on either side of me while the one to my left shared a chair with me. We are sitting and watching inside this place that I believe to be a church. We were watching these drummer guys from a marching band dancing and playing, but what was unsual about them is the fact that they were dancing and playing while hunch back. They never had a straight posture. There were also cheerleaders there doing their cheerleading dance, but their posture were straight. I never saw a pastor or a podium because everyone was facing me and the two girls. I was in a black church from looking at the audience. For some reason I noticed that every girl in the room had long hair. I looked at the girl next to me on my left and said that it great for girls to have weave that's the way it should be. (I don't know if I was being sarcastic or why I said that). The girl had a smile and her face and I realized that she had fake hair also and I turn to look at the other girl on my right to see her reaction and don't remember what her exact reaction was, but she must of had a straight face. The dream ended there.

I have often dreamed of being in my mother's house these last years...the house she died in; and I lived in during my adolescence.

Your mother's house could symbolize the past...even that past hurts have now been put to rest.

Every time I visit the house in dreams I see she has made improvements or is in the process of renovations---some seemed so good and well done too---this is always a surprise because I know in my head she is in heaven & can't do any more on earth.

These improvements would seem to symbolize your recovery from the past and renewed perspective.

Well, I was in my mother's house again in a dream...we have gone to visit her, she is not there & I'm thinking we missed each other---thinking she went to see me and I went to see her...in real life we lived 200 miles apart...in real life, we really never connected as mother and daughter.

This could signify that you been healed from abandonment, from times your mother wasn't "there" for you. Also could show your willingness (you went to visit her) to connect even though she wasn't.

In the dream, the living room has a fantastic improvement. The ceiling is extremely high---it is a wooden ceiling with woodwork done in a paved look; or squares of planks of woods fitted together opposite each other.

This would seem to say that in heaven you and your mother will connect extremely well! High ceiling and fantastic improvement could be another confirmation of the renewing and healing of your mind and emotions from the past.

The roof or ceiling is not square or perpendicular...it is a narrow dome shape; made me think of the shape some big bird avaries are buit in. There is a tall central pillar inside the room holding up a netting and some kind of bird is under the netting.

Maybe past hurts have kept you caged like a bird...depressed  This next part seems to say tiz darkest before the dawn. The sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its wings for you! :amen:

Then I have the feeling of being in a dark, low place...still the living room but the floor level is lower than street level...I can see a drive way, curving up to some light...that is the entrance or way out of the room...not a regular door.

I am outside now, have gone around the house and can see this fantastic structure; the house is a patchwork of different additions; each addition made of different materials...stones, different stones, woodwork...earth works...all with a dome shaped roof...all very well constructed..all bulging out from the main dome.

All this could symbolize the false doctrines that men have added to the Gospel and even glorious church buildings all in the supposed Name of Jesus. These verses come to mind...

1 Corinthians 3:11-15 For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ. If any man builds on this foundation using gold, silver, costly stones, wood, hay or straw, his work will be shown for what it is, because the Day will bring it to light. It will be revealed with fire, and the fire will test the quality of each man's work. If what he has built survives, he will receive his reward. If it is burned up, he will suffer loss; he himself will be saved, but only as one escaping through the flames.

Now I am walking straight down the sidewalk...I see a priest, he is looking straight at me...he has been watching me (Jesus, I think...my High Priest). He draws me to himself...we go into a (church?) There may be others there...? (priests?)

You going in a different direction would confirm that you been building rightly on Jesus and that because you have, He will send you out to help free those ensnared by false churches.

Now I am outside, going a different direction, but straight down a walk way...there are rows of single storied buildings...like the ones we build here in So. California for schools...people are coming forward to the doors and windows to see me (go by ?) Then I see the people are outside, lying down, they are chained up...they are prisoners of some kind...

I wake up hearing these words: There is going to be a flood.

Hopefully this a Divine foretelling of the Holy Spirit being poured out! Of Divine breakthroughs from our Lord of the Breakthroughs! Of a flood of His living and powerful Word! :D

“You’ve never seen what a prophet can do!”

Those words sprung from my mouth without forethought as I walked alone through our apartment. Two things were going on at the same time: First, the Lord was speaking to me by the Spirit, reminding me of how weak and immature my own ministry was and of how much I had to grow. Second, I was hearing a conversation in my heart that had prophetic symbolism and significance to it.

Do you believe God shows things to prophets? Yes, He does! The Bible is filled with it. My life experiences and the experiences of many other prophets testify to it. I could tell you story after story of how God reveals mysteries, today.

In my spirit, I was in dialogue with someone discussing an issue and I was reproving them with the words “You’ve never seen what a prophet can do!” In my mind I imagined an encounter with an anonymous pastor. He was discounting the value of prophets, specifically, the value of having a prophet around and “messing with his stuff.” (Do you know what I mean? Prophets afflict the comfortable and comfort the afflicted. They never leave things like they found them.) In this conversation, he was dismissing the prophetic person with an attitude of, “Who needs them?”

He was saying, “They’re not good administrators. They don’t take care of the youth or carry a pastoral load. They don’t do anything the way I want them to. They never show up on time. Their ministry doesn’t generate income for the church. Why bother making room for misfits anyway? They’re always tearing something down or starting something new. What good are they?”

Unknowingly, by his words he had devalued the valuable, thus displaying a carnal, unbelieving attitude in his heart. Unfortunately, whatever attitude any leader carries is also the attitude he projects to his people. Before long everyone around them has the same attitude. This causes an inevitable devaluation of the things of the Spirit.

Yet the Lord has another viewpoint. The things men esteem, God despises and the things God esteems, carnal people disdain, especially the things of the Spirit. There is something so precious to the Lord about men and women of the Spirit—prophets—that of all the gifts and offices which He offers to the Church, this one is protected by a strict commandment: “Touch not my anointed and do my prophets no harm.”

God highly values prophets. Why? Because He values the dispersion they cause of the Spirit of God. They are carriers of grace. The Lord takes years to refine, humble, purify, test, and perfect His prophetic instruments. He says that He “rises early and sends them,” implying effort, care, and deliberate intention. They are not ordinary. They are not a cheap commodity. Failure to hear a prophet who is sent by the Lord is tantamount to missing “the day of your visitation.”

I’ve said often before, “I am nobody but I represent someone who is Somebody.” I am an agent of His kingdom. Jesus set the values and vision of His kingdom. I can describe them and deliver them, but I can’t alter them. To me, the message of the Lord is far more important than the messenger, so I take no stock in accolades or titles. But God takes notice of how we treat (or mistreat) His messengers. He watches to see whether His servants are received. Reject the servant and you have by default rejected the word that he carried.

Picture religious rebels: angry with changes, grumbling, knowing they are losing control, plotting, saying, “Stone the prophet but get the cassette tapes out of his coat pocket first!” This won’t work. Even true prophetic words become powerless and void when they are embraced by rebels. There is no substitute for a prophet, no artificial container that can bottle up their anointing, no prepackaged method or book or program that can make up for their absence.

We’re going to learn that there is a difference between someone who gives a prophetic utterance and someone who is a prophet of the Lord. Any believer may prophesy by the Holy Spirit’s anointing. That doesn’t make them a prophet. Prophets carry a unique branding. It is the Spirit of Jesus. They are marked by a peculiar anointing. God always knows where they are and what is going on around them. People often judge the prophets, but God is often judging the people who are reacting to the prophets’ presence.

Prophets may not always be good preachers or even good teachers. They don’t have to be. Of course, the ones who are good teachers become a real treasure! It is not what a prophet does that makes them valuable, but who a prophet is; that is, who they are in Christ. Christ has deposited something of himself inside the man or woman of God who carries that special prophetic grace and who manifests its aroma as a blessing in the Church.

The presence of prophets, as uncomfortable as they may make us, is a sign of God’s favor. Their absence is a signal that God has decided to leave us alone. Does that thought frighten you? It does me! Their presence is vital and crucial to the life of any New Testament Church. Along with apostles, these ascension gifts of Christ are fundamental. They must be present in every generation and in every location or else something becomes sorely lacking in the church’s governmental structure, expression of community life, and corporate ministry.

The Key Thought

The incredible fact is that with all the amazing restoration we’ve already seen of the gifts of the Holy Spirit (healings, miracles, faith, unknown tongues, interpretation of tongues, prophecy, words of knowledge, words of wisdom, discerning of spirits) and the ministry offices (apostles, prophets, pastors, teachers, and evangelists) in the last fifty years in the Body of Christ, we have yet to see the full measure of what a true prophet of the Lord can do.

To this day, we have seen them operate only in limited harness, ministering with reduced power, moving with hampered authority, exercising partial revelation. They have done this with unbelief clouding the air and spells of religious bondage hindering their work and their words. They have only had a little grace to make a little difference, but not so much as to shake up the status quo.

Do you know what status quo is? Someone said, “It’s Greek for the mess we’re in!” Actually, it is a Latin phrase for “the present state of affairs.” Prophets don’t leave things alone: they shake things up… if they are received, believed, and allowed the time and the opportunity to deposit the grace they carry.

Prophets pay a price to be men and women of the Spirit. Saturation with the Spirit takes time and devotion. Just having good notes is never enough for a prophet- they want to demonstrate God’s power. They may not be useful in earthly areas but they do know the things of God. They are companions of the Holy Spirit. They know and cherish His voice. They feel God’s touch. Their heart is pulled by God’s heart when others feel nothing. They know when something’s not right. They know the seasons, and they often move prematurely (to others’ way of thinking) only for folks to discover later that they were right on-time in God. Prophets are comfortable with angels, with dreams and visions, with improbable circumstances and sovereign divine appointments. They live their lives “out of control,” full of mystery and misunderstanding, but always in touch with heaven’s reality. They march to the beat of a drummer that no one else can hear.

Do you know a prophet? I could happily spend the rest of my life encouraging sincere prophets and equipping young apostles. You can’t attach a monetary value to your relationship (if you have one) with a genuine prophet. In that sense, they’re like lawyers: not worth a plugged nickel to keep around, but when you really need one, you’d pay a mint to have access to one who is on your side!

The words I spoke by the Spirit, “You’ve never seen what a prophet can do,” were actually words filled with great hope for with them came another aspect of the word that was left unspoken by the Lord… “but you will!”

By the way, if you think you have trouble with prophets, wait until the real apostles come out of concealment and take off their market-place disguises.

Pour Out For Breakthrough!!!
Aug 08, 2005

Many are in desperate situations and need a breakthrough. Some need a natural breakthrough — finances, relationships, jobs, family, etc. Others need a spiritual breakthrough — direction and purpose, destiny, divine connections, creative ideas, giftings, development of talents, etc. Some need a combination of both in order to experience breakthrough.

2 Kings 4:1-7 is an awesome testimony of the Lord bringing breakthrough in a desperate situation. Through this passage, the Lord is speaking to us of His creativity in meeting our needs, both naturally and spiritually.

A certain woman of the wives of the sons of the prophets cried out to Elisha, saying, "Your servant my husband is dead, and you know that your servant feared the Lord. And the creditor is coming to take my two sons to be his slaves." (2 Kings 4:1)

This woman was in a desperate situation. Not only had her husband (her companion, her protector and her provider) died, her sons, whom she loved and on whom she would depend, were about to be taken away and faced a dismal future. According to Mosaic law, debtors and their children could be enslaved to work off their debts. Most of us cringe at the thought of our children facing hardship, much less being enslaved to make restitution on our behalf.

This woman's response wasn't to worry or act out of desperation. She sought the Lord (Elisha was the Lord's spokesman.). Many reading this are in equally desperate situations. In every situation, especially desperate situations, we must seek the Lord.

As this woman sought the Lord's counsel, she didn't boast that her husband was a mighty man of God or that he had an awesome ministry (although he was part of a company of prophets). She boasted that her husband feared the Lord. Because this man feared the Lord, he knew the Lord's ways. He was a servant because he feared the Lord. The Lord desires that we serve, not be served (see Matthew 20:28). When we truly fear the Lord, we will walk in His ways ... serving Him as well as others, seeking to bring Him glory rather than receiving recognition, and responding with radical obedience to all that we hear and see from Him.

So Elisha said to her, "What shall I do for you" Tell me, what do you have in the house?" And she said, "Your maidservant has nothing in the house but a jar of oil." (2 Kings 4:2)

The symbolism in this passage is quite interesting. Oil is symbolic of anointing. Each of us is anointed for God's holy purpose. Whether you feel anointed is beside the point. If you have a relationship with our Father through His Son and are sealed with His Holy Spirit, then YOU ARE ANOINTED. Jesus, the Christ, was the Anointed One and His Holy Spirit dwells within us. We are the temple, or house, of His Holy Spirit.

The Lord desires that we recognize and identify what it is we have in our house. He desires that we recognize that the Anointed One has made a deposit in each of us. We have an "anointed Holy Spirit" residing within each of us. The same Holy Spirit that empowered Jesus to demonstrate compassion, heal the sick, raise the dead, teach with power, resist the devil, and walk in complete obedience resides in our house!

What has the Lord anointed you to do? What does He enable you to do? What talents, gifts and abilities has He placed within you? Recognize these and thank Him for them!

Then he said, "Go, borrow vessels from everywhere, from all your neighbors — empty vessels; do not gather just a few. And when you have come in, you shall shut the door behind you and your sons; then pour it into all those vessels, and set aside the full ones." (2 Kings 4:3-4)

We are a vessel filled with the Holy Spirit. We are to find empty vessels and pour into them. We are to pour into the lives of others behind closed doors. In other words, this is to be done as a lifestyle ... and not as an act of "ministry." It's about building and nurturing relationships ... simply because we care and not because we get something (fulfillment, status, recognition) out of it. Freely we have received of Him, freely we are to give of Him (see Matthew 10:8).

Consider David. God gave him special abilities to shoot a slingshot and play a harp. Both of these talents would be used in significant ways by the Lord. David didn't mope around feeling insignificant because he wasn't the national slingshot champion or first chair in the Israeli Harp Ensemble. He didn't even aspire for these things. He also didn't begrudge these seemingly simple talents. David honed these skills on the back side of the desert as He was faithful in the ministries to which he was presently entrusted (tending sheep and ministering to the Lord). In fact, his only audience and recognition came from the Lord ... and a herd of wooly sheep.

David poured his best out to the Lord. We are to do likewise. Whatever talents, abilities, or skills the Lord has given us, we are to offer them back to Him. We do this by responding obediently to Him in using them ... even if it means pouring them out to Him behind closed doors.

So she went from him and shut the door behind her and her sons, who brought the vessels to her; and she poured it out. Now it came to pass, when the vessels were full, that she said to her son, "Bring me another vessel." And he said to her, "There is not another vessel." So the oil ceased. (2 Kings 4:5-6)

This woman demonstrated a quality that the Lord desires — obedience. She responded exactly as she had been instructed. She didn't rationalize concerning what she'd been instructed to do, nor did she try to "help" by adding something to what had been spoken. We demonstrate our love and trust of the Lord by our obedience (see John 14:21) — doing what He says, when He says it, and exactly as He instructs.

If the Lord has given you a special talent as a musician, don't despair that you may not be a recording artist or a worship leader; give your talent back to Him by playing/singing unto Him (in true worship) behind closed doors. If the Lord has given you a desire to write, don't despair that you may not be an best-selling author; give your talent back to Him by writing letters to Him and others. If the Lord has given you prophetic gifting, don't despair that you may not be a recognized prophetic voice in your generation; give the talent back to Him by speaking forth His words of life as you hear them from Him ... either in intercession behind closed doors or to an unknown friendly grocery store employee. If the Lord has given you a desire to teach/preach, don't despair that you may not have a national audience; give your talent back to Him by teaching/preaching to an audience of one ... and then two ... and then three.

Whatever your gift or talent, give it back to the Lord by responding to His leading. As we obediently pour out of our anointing behind closed doors, the Lord will multiply and bless.

Then she came and told the man of God. And he said, "Go, sell the oil and pay your debt; and you and your sons live on the rest." (2 Kings 4:7)

As this woman responded obediently to the Lord, He met her need extravagantly. Not only was her debt paid, she and her sons had money on which to live.

We serve an awesome God who is able to do exceedingly and abundantly above all that we can ask or think (see Ephesians 3:20). Not only does He desire to meet all our needs, He desires to bless us abundantly. He will bless us and we'll experience breakthrough ... when we respond obediently to Him ... and pour out our oil into empty vessels.

It’s not over ‘til the Barren Woman Sings!

Beloved saints of God

I have been spending much time in the first chapter of Luke and would like to share with you some insights from the lives of Zechariah and Elizabeth.

There are principles displayed in the story of their lives which explain God’s ways in dealing with His people in the earth in this day. Zechariah and Elizabeth were both faithful servants of God. They had a history and a genealogy of faithful service to the Lord. Zechariah was of the family of Abijah which means ‘worshipper of God’ and Elisabeth was descended from Aaron. Their forefathers were godly and they had secured a godly inheritance for this couple, yet there was no manifestation of this and no fruitfulness in their lives. They had never had a child. There was an incongruence here. According to Deut 28, for those who served God faithfully, one of the promises was that there would be no barren amongst them. Yet here were Zechariah and Elisabeth manifesting circumstances that seemed to indicate unfaithfulness to God and sin in their lives or the lives of their forefathers. How confusing because the Word reminds us:

Luke 1:6 And they were both righteous before God, walking blameless in all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord.

Sometimes those who do not seem fruitful are judged by others in the Body of Christ as being unfit or disqualified and it is assumed there is sin in their lives. Perhaps you are one of these people who have faithfully worshipped God for many years and prayed for Him to use you for His kingdom and yet no door has ever opened for you and you feel that you just go round and round in circles like Zechariah, year after year performing the required sacrifices in the temple, attending all the meetings, praying, worshipping, giving- and yet, there is no breakthrough to your destiny and this ‘purpose’ that is talked about everywhere, never happens.

Elisabeth, in particular, had borne the brunt of this situation and had been labeled as ‘barren’. Zechariah was still going through the motions, involved in service for the Lord at the temple, doing whatever was required of him but Elisabeth was at home and the stigma of not having a child weighed heavily upon her. She must have wondered what was wrong with her that made her unfit to be blessed with a fruitful womb by the Lord. Why was God always using other people? Didn’t He see her desperate desire to be used by Him? She had been through all the soul-searching, the counseling, the deliverance, in an effort to cleanse her soul of anything that might hinder the Lord from using her but still she found herself in this barren place. Elisabeth means ‘God is my satisfaction’ and she must have finally come to the place of accepting that nothing she desired in her life compared to God. He could satisfy and silence every longing in her soul with His presence. He was enough. She had come to the place of death to her own desire that the mantle of shame placed on her by the community would be lifted. If God did not desire her to have a child, she would accept it and worship Him with all her heart anyhow.

Our congregations are full of people like Elisabeth, and these are the people He delights to use. I found a very interesting thing when I dug into the Hebrew meaning of the word ‘barren’: it means ‘stiff and unnatural’ but comes from a root word meaning solid, stable and steadfast’ and this in turn comes from a word meaning ‘to stand, abide, covenant’. So, deep down in the foundations of someone who appears barren, there is actually a strength and stability, a covenant relationship with the Lord. They may be a bit inflexible and stiff concerning new things happening in the church, they may not be up at the front moving in the power of the Spirit, but in God’s eyes they don’t carry the stigma their brothers and sisters in the Body attach to them. They are solid rock Christians, the salt of the earth, not powerhouses maybe but you can count on them!

This is the wonderful lesson to be learnt from Zechariah and Elisabeth’s lives: just because God hasn’t used you up to now doesn’t mean you are unuseable! There is nothing wrong with you, it just means that your appointed time of participating in God’s prophetic purposes hasn’t arrived until now! Barrenness just means that God has been keeping your spiritual womb set apart and undefiled by the agendas of man so that He can use you in His kairos moment to participate in His purposes! When the angel Gabriel spoke to Zechariah, he said, ” Do not fear, Zechariah. For your prayer is heard, and your wife Elizabeth shall bear you a son, and you shall call his name John.” This is amazing because obviously he is not referring to a prayer that Zechariah prayed last week. He himself said he was ‘an old man, and my wife well stricken in years’. Beloved, the angel is referring to prayers prayed many years before when the couple were young and it was the expected time to bear children. You can guarantee that they had long since given up praying for that particular issue. Yet here is the angel saying that God has not forgotten or mislaid that prayer request! What an encouragement for us. I believe that we are going to see God answering prayer issues that we have long since laid to rest on the altar of His sovereignty. It wasn’t that you prayed wrong or were out of the will of God. There is just the issue of God’s appointed times in executing His will in the earth! God doesn’t come at the expected time and sometimes He waits until everyone else has written you off and then in He sweeps and turns your life upside-down.

The name of this child that would be born is important. John means ‘the favor of God’. Here is a woman who has seemingly walked under God’s disapproval and disqualification because of ‘barrenness’ now bringing forth something that clearly has the badge of God’s favor upon it! Beloved, He is going to remove our shame and the reproach of unfruitfulness and men are going to acknowledge that the favor of God rests upon our lives. Isaiah 61 says:

For your shame ye shall have double; and for confusion they shall rejoice in their portion: therefore in their land they shall possess the double: everlasting joy shall be unto them.

God heard your heart’s request and the answer is coming and it is going to leave you speechless just as it did Zechariah! This is God’s idea and you are not going to be able to water it down by just calling it what people would expect - it was traditional for babies to be named after their fathers or at least someone in their family line so that everything would be respectable but no! – this idea is going to ruffle feathers and shake up the religious mindsets even before it can speak for itself and you are not going to have words to explain what is happening! This is why you will need to draw apart like Elisabeth did, to spend time before the Lord gaining understanding of His purposes and plan that is growing within you. By the time Mary came to visit, Elisabeth understood where she fitted into the whole picture and was able to mentor Mary.

What is interesting in the unfolding of God’s redemptive purpose in the earth is that first He used a barren womb to produce something to prepare the way and then He used a virgin womb to bring forth the manifestation of Christ in the earth. From ‘used but unfruitful’ to ‘untouched and virgin’. What a story of God’s creative restoring power at work! It is done the same way in our lives. First God takes our barrenness and shame and transforms it to fruitfulness. But this is just the preparation for God’s main event, the manifestation of His Son! The outworking of the spirit of Elijah (which was also seen in John) prepares the way within us and transforms us into a virgin womb to receive the seed of the Son, so that we bring forth Christ in the earth. If you think people are shook-up by the appearance of ‘John’ in your life, wait until ‘Jesus’ manifests in power!

The marks and effects of John’s life were an outpouring of joy, holiness, repentance and a fullness of the Spirit and a mighty move of evangelism and souls being brought into the kingdom. All of this was a preparation so that there would be a readiness for the Lord’s appearing:

Luke 1:14 And you shall have joy and gladness, and many shall rejoice at his birth. For he shall be great in the sight of the Lord, and shall neither drink wine nor strong drink. And he shall be filled with the Holy Spirit, even from his mother's womb. And he shall turn many of the sons of Israel to the Lord their God And he shall go before Him in the spirit and power of Elijah, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just, to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.

I see from this that will be a move in the Body of Christ manifesting a return to holiness and repentance. Both John and Jesus preached the same message, “Repent for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand” but John did no miracles. John baptized in water which is representative of a washing with the Word and signifies teaching on sin, righteousness and judgment so that people can learn to discern between good and evil. This will bring repentance. John said that following him, there will be a fresh baptism with the Holy Spirit and fire, and this will bring forth an unprecedented wave of evangelism in power and then there will be the manifestation of the sons of God through miracles and signs following the preaching of the Word.

In Malachi 3 God addresses the cry of His people for Him to visit them and explains that He will come but first it will be as a refiner’s fire and a fuller’s soap to clean up His priests. This is the message of John the Baptist – bear fruit in keeping with repentance. Then after this in Malachi 4, the Sun of Righteousness arises with healing in His wings.

So, Beloved, expect first a conviction of sin and a deep desire within you to be wholly set apart for the Lord. This is God’s work of preparation in you before you can bring forth Christ in the earth. Listen to the prophesy that Zechariah spoke over his son:

Luke 1:76 And thou, child, shalt be called the prophet of the Highest: for thou shalt go before the face of the Lord to prepare his ways; To give knowledge of salvation unto his people by the remission of their sins, Through the tender mercy of our God; whereby the dayspring from on high hath visited us, To give light to them that sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace.

This work of the Holy Spirit will cause us to return to the good old paths, to get rid of the rampant outgrowth of wickedness in our lifestyles and to be restored to life of peace with God.

John was the introduction to the main attraction but there was a consistency between His message and Jesus’ message. Whatever the Lord is going to express through your life, there will be consistency whether you are walking out the prophetic preparation or the manifestation of Christ. Both will shake up the establishment and bring conflict with those of a religious spirit. Expect it! Remember there is always a season of seclusion with God’s appointed mentors when we carry His purposes in our spiritual wombs. Both Elisabeth and Mary were hidden from the general public during the first months of their pregnancy, being mentored by the Holy Spirit personally or a spirit-filled person. Don’t rush around telling everyone what you carry in your womb as soon as you conceive. Wait until you gain understanding and it starts to take shape within you and then the ‘bump’ will start to show anyway, you will not be able to hide it although you may not have a very rational explanation to give people!

Zechariah means ‘God has remembered’. Beloved, God has not overlooked your labor of love and you will reap a harvest if you faint not. Your prayers have been heard, God has not forgotten and the answer is coming to turn your lives upside down and you will be a co-laborer with God, bringing forth His purposes at His appointed seasons! You are not barren after all, just in the Kairos waiting room. Prepare to be stretched beyond the mindsets of your religious community and family. You are going to bring forth something of a different spirit!

AMEN! What a great message of encouragement you have written!

"For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry." Habakkuk 2 verse 3

Psalm 138 verse 8.."The LORD will perfect that which concerneth me: thy mercy, O LORD, endureth for ever: forsake not the works of thine own hands."

THOUGH THE VISION TARRIES

Habakkuk 2 verse 3: For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it: because it will surely come, it will not tarry."

Have you ever had a vision from God? Have you ever had a clear word from God that he is going to do something? Do the months and years roll by without the vision being fulfilled? Have you almost gave up on your vision? Has the devil whispered to you, "God didn't give you a vision, God didn't speak to you, you might as well give up....look at you, waiting for something that is not going to happen."

Well, my friend, I am here to tell you that God is not man; He does not lie. All throughout the Bible, stories are recorded of men and women who have received a vision or clear word from God but they had to wait for it to be fulfilled. Time does not permit me to tell the full stories of Noah, how he found grace in the eyes of the Lord, received a clear word from God but had to wait days and years for the word to be fulfilled. How about Abraham and Sarah? God gave them a clear word that they were going to have a son although this seemed impossible. Sarah even laughed at the thought. Yet God fulfilled his word at the right time. How about Moses, who had to wait 40 years for his vision to be fulfilled? He was humbled in the wilderness before he could assume the position that God had created for him. I could go on and on about clear words from the Lord, visions and dreams, and answers to prayers that were delayed for God's purposes.

I say to you, hold on to your vision, your word from the Lord. It will surely come to pass. These little five words are recorded often in the Bible "And it came to pass". God's time is always perfect, although we may not understand why he is delaying. Remember how Lazarus lay cold in the grave for four days but then Jesus came and raised him from the dead? It appeared too late for Lazarus, but God received the glory. For with God nothing shall be impossible.

In 1987, I received a clear word, yes, even a vision from the Lord. This vision has not yet been fulfilled, but I feel in my spirit that the time for it to happen is rapidly approaching. Please pray that the Lord would renew this vision, confirm this vision, and that it would be fulfilled. Your word from the Lord, too, will be fulfilled. Solomon said it well in Ecclesiastes, "There is a time and a purpose for everything under heaven". May the Lord's will be done in earth as it is in heaven.

Isaiah 30 verse 18: "And therefore will the LORD wait, that he may be gracious unto you, and therefore will he be exalted, that he may have mercy upon you: for the LORD is a God of judgment: blessed are all they that wait for him."

Clarifying, as noted above, I didn't write The Barren Woman message, though yes indeed is an extremely heartening one, as is yours! TY JESUS who gives hope to make the present more bearable! :D

Psalm 62:5 My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from Him.

Jeremiah 29:11-14 For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon Me and come and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. You will seek Me and find Me when you seek Me with all your heart. I will be found by you," declares the LORD...

Romans 15:13 Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.

Colossians 1:27 To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.

Hebrews 10:35-36 Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward. For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.

Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

1 Chronicles 12 verse 22. "For at that time day by day there came to David to help him, until it was a great host, like the host of God."

Saul was dead, and it was time for David to become King. As a young man, he was anointed by the prophet Samuel, to be the King of Israel. However, Saul was king, and David had to fight some battles to get to the time and place where God wanted him. When this time approached, God sent help from everywhere...they were eager to make David king, and "were of one heart to make David king".

Why was this thing so? It was so because God had ordained it, and nothing could stand against His plans.

When your time of destiny comes, God will send help, and make straight the path wherein you should walk.

AN OPEN DOOR

Acts 16.9 "And a vision appeared to Paul in the night; There stood a man of Macedonia, and prayed him, saying, Come over into Macedonia, and help us."

I had been seeking God's will for service when I read the above scripture. As I went to prayer and asked God to open the door of opportunity, I had the blessed assurance that this prayer was to be shortly answered.

A couple of nights later, I went to sleep and had a dream. In this dream, the congregation of a small country church was holding a business meeting. They had recently been sent a new pastor, but his circuit prevented him from coming to preach every Sunday. The members of the church desired to hold services every Sunday but were without a preacher. In my vision, I recognized some of the members of the church who had already gone on to be with the Lord. One of them stood up and said, "Why don't we call Irvin and ask him to come preach every second and fourth Sunday?" The whole congregation agreed. I awoke from my vivid dream and the Lord spoke to me and said, "The dream is real, they'll call you to come preach so accept the mission."

I knew many members of the church...my brother-in-law, the Rev. Joe Thigpen, had been co-pastor there for 25 years. I had filled in for him several times and had helped keep up the cemetery for several years. The people there were good, kind-hearted folks who loved their community and their church. Many times when I was mowing the cemetery, one or more people would stop by to pay their respects to their dear departed ones. This was a great opportunity to minister to them and pray with the ones who were troubled. I've seen the Lord work in lives through this experience.

About two weeks after my dream, one of the church members called me and said, "We've had a meeting in the church and everybody is in agreement. If you could, would you come on the second and fourth Sundays and preach for us?" I replied, "Yes, the Lord has already revealed to me that my next mission would be preaching for you." I ministered there for four years and the Lord greatly blessed that little church, both spiritually and materially.

There is nothing like a little white country church set on a rolling hill that reminds you of the simple fact of the Christian faith. God is love. During my time there, several of the older members went on to be with the Lord. I had the privilege of preaching their funerals and I can still recall the sounds of their voices singing, "When they ring those golden bells for you and me."

Psalm 133.1 : "Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for the brethren to dwell together in unity."

Hello,

This dream is so vivid to the point that I question if it was a dream or if I saw something in the news and thought it was a dream. I remember seen a jet airplane flying very lower and looks like it was about to land. I was drawn to its windows which stood out from any other jet or planes that I saw for they took the most space on the jet. The jet was so low that I can see inside the windows, but I saw nothing. The jet/airplane looks like it can carry people, but it was also shaped like an army jet. It was white and looked like a luxury jet, I did not see anyone in it. It was almost the same size as an army jet, but with more windows that are larger. The jet/plane was about to dive nose first at a strange angle around an area of green grass. I was wondering if the plane was going to be okay, but I believe it was okay because I don't remember it crashing, it must have landed.

I was looking through some army airplane pictures and I can say that the one that I saw in my dream is almost similiar in shape (not details) to a A-3D Skywarrior plane. It was more futuristic with four large "square" window and was all white.

I need help understanding this dream. Thanks in advance HumbleBee and God Bless.

Violent Earthquake in Colorado

1 of 3 Earthquake Dreams

In this dream I was walking with my brother along the Cache La Poudre River northwest of our hometown of Fort Collins, Colorado. Since neither of us has lived there for years, it would seem we were there visiting at the same time. We were fondly talking about his grown son, Tom. As we spoke I couldn’t help but notice how beautiful the scenery was. The dry mountain air was cool and crisp. The sky was an exquisite deep blue, the trees were bright green, the river’s water was clear, and the tall granite cliffs were brown and red in color. It was breathtaking and looked exactly as I remember Northwestern Colorado in the early summer. There were many vacationers by the river who were picnicking and enjoying the beautiful warm weather. As we talked I was looking at the river and it dawned on me that I had never seen so much water in it before.

Suddenly, and without warning, the earth began to tremble. I saw the mountains shake and felt the earth move beneath my feet. Prior to this I hadn’t even noticed all the people enjoying the beautiful day. They hadn’t caught my attention until the earthquake hit. I became fully aware of them because they began to scream and run wild when the trembling began. Even with all the screaming and chaos happening all around us, I was totally at peace. My brother looked at me as if to ask what we should do. I reassured him that we would be alright if we dodged the rocks as we saw them roll down the mountain. We turned our attention to the high mountain cliff that was set back away from the river’s edge where we stood. What we saw shook us to the core. Unexpectedly, huge sections of the rock wall were being shaken loose from the steep rim, and the fractured cliff walls began to topple! They quickly began to make their trek down the mountain straight toward us. We realized that there was no possible way we could avoid so many of them, so we took off running as fast as we could uphill towards the closer mountain cliffs. We hoped that if we could tuck into an overhang, the rolling boulders would bounce over and around us. We were sprinting up the mountain towards a tall rock ledge, but I knew I was not going to make it. Seeing that it was my only choice, I headed for a smaller but closer ridge hoping I could find an overhang to shield me. I turned to see if my brother would make it. I yelled, “MIKE! I LOVE YOU!” He yelled back, “I LOVE YOU TOO!” I felt we both knew that this catastrophic event was going to separate us, but we also knew we weren’t going to be separated forever.

I continued to run for cover when out of the blue a huge boulder bounced right in front of me. Much to my surprise there was a young man riding on top it! He had harnessed it and was riding it down the mountain! He wore colorful safety gear - a red and white striped helmet and knee pads. Somehow I jumped up onto the boulder as it flew by, and stood behind him and rode it too. End

Interpretation:

Brother

My brother seems symbolic of loved ones, and not only family, but brethren in Christ. Though we may get separated we have assurance that we are seated together in Christ Jesus. See Ephesians 2:6.

Conversation

Talking about his son would seem to point to blessing future generations. See Genesis 9:12-17 and Psalm 78:1-7.

The Scenery

I believe this river’s name is significant. The name, “Cache La Poudre” is French for “Stash the Powder”. There is a local story that says the river got its name when some French travelers hid some gun powder in the canyon one winter because it had gotten too heavy to carry over the mountains. ‘Dunamis’ is Greek for ‘Power’. It is where we get the word, “dynamite.” So this river may have been chosen by the Holy Spirit in this dream to reveal God’s hidden power (stashed gun powder) at work. See Psalm 46 and 97. Though dynamite and gun powder have different chemical compounds, they are both have explosive qualities. The deep blue sky is symbolic to me for heavenly revelation from the Lord. When I see blue in a dream I know I need to pay attention. The bright green foliage is evidence of new life budding forth. God has given us, who believe in our hearts that Jesus is the Lord, to know the hidden mysteries of His kingdom. The fact that it was early summer I think is significant. I believe the Lord is granting us a growing season like no other. It is a time for planting the Word into those around us who are lost. The brown and red rock seems to point to humanity in need of salvation. The river being fuller than I had seen it would point to the fullness of God’s Living Water being poured out on the earth before His return. Clear water is common for Rocky Mountain rivers, but it is somewhat unusual to be so clear during heavy runoff. That would suggest that the runoff was consistent and maybe had been occurring for some time. This may be the flow of the prophetic. The clear fast moving water would seem symbolic of Jesus, The Living Water. The testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy. See Revelation 19:10 and John 4:10-14. God’s word is CLEAR to us that His blood is what cleanses us from sin and all unrighteousness. The earthquake itself is both symbolic of the shaking going on in the earth both spiritual and physical. It is also prophetic of things to come. The Lord reveals this a number of times in the Gospels and the Revelation of John.

For a photo of Poudre Canyon you can click on http://www.ftcollins.com/Photos/Poudresnow.htm but it isn’t exactly how I saw it in the dream. The rocks were further back from the river. It was a wide valley and there were more cliffs further up. There was no snow. However, it does give you an idea of the severity of the rocks coming down. I don’t really think that this dream was about an earthquake hitting Colorado. It’s not that it couldn’t but I don’t believe that to be the application of this dream.

The Man on the Boulder

The “youthfulness” of the man standingon the boulder wasn’t necessarily representative of his age. It may have been, but it seemed to point more toward his ability, agility and creative technique of leading. To me this symbolizes his ability to stand on The ROCK – Christ Jesus in times of crisis and to lead others to do the same. He was using what could have caused him destruction to keep from being destroyed. He harnessed the power of this cataclysmic event and rode it out. His youthfulness may have very well have been the anointing of the upcoming generation of men and women who are creative in there walk with the Lord and their willingness to give it all and to never bow to the enemy. See Daniel 3. His safety helmet was red and white which seem to be colors symbolic of salvation (the blood of the Lamb) and purity. Red also symbolizes fire – he would represent one who is zealous for the things of God. His knee pads would suggest he spends a lot of time on his knees in prayer. He wasn’t controlling the boulder but was holding onto it with the reigns. This indicated that he reigns with Christ, the Rock of our salvation. I also got the impression that this man, who represents true leadership in Christ, is of the same spirit of the man in a different dream that saved a child from a mangy lion. This dream and its interpretation are found at http://www.etpv.org/2005/cltb.html .

This dream also reminds me of how eagles mount up on the thermal winds that approach before a storm, and uses that energy to soar above the storm until it has passed. It USES the destructive force of the storm to take it higher! Also see what Joseph said in Genesis 50:20 for another application.

Thank you for your time and consideration and God bless you in your journey in seeking the Lord’s will and His ways,
Praiser

Praiser, my first reaction to this dream--
Colorado has quickly built into an area of affluence, security and enjoyment. The scenery is beautiful, and recent man-made additions are also beautiful. People enjoy the stability there, and maybe put too much trust in the rising economy of the area. As it crumbles, you and your brother hold together with a sense of knowing that you will not be touched by a downfall, even though you are in the midst of it and pained to see how it impacts others. (Always one step ahead of the boulders?)

But I would trust your interpretation above an outsider's--that's why you had the dream, and not me. I just mentioned the observation in case it might shed more light on your very descriptive and thorough interpretation. I pray that you might be padded and helmeted for things to come!

I am not sure if this is the right place to go, but I had a few dreams over the past few nights that I am wondering about. One in particular stands out.

I was walking along a dirt path, and to the side of me was a dirt plane. On it were many cots (around a hundred or more) all lined up in even rows. People were walking over to the beds and lying down to sleep. Beside the beds were laundry baskets. As the people went over to sleep, they placed wooden or stone idols/statues into the baskets. Overhead were thick wires. Other people were on the wires in some type of ski lift and were going along collecting the idols from the people who had gone to sleep. I asked why they were collecting the idols, and they said "this place gets full pretty fast if we don't." I walked away wondering that people still carried idols around in this day and age.

Last night I dreamed that my son was pregnant (age 9) and was soon to give birth. I wondered how a boy would give birth. Somehow it was managed, but the baby was taken away and he didn't notice. I believed the baby had died. Then I went into labour which lasted a few days. On one morning, a nurse and doctor came and told me that they didn't know how the mistake was made, but I wasn't pregnant. I wondered why I was in labour when I wasn't pregnant.

I would like an interpretation if that is possible, but I would like it to come from God. In searching, I have come up with many psychic places for interpretation, but that is not what I want.

Could you help? Thank you.

The first one sounds very symbolic, about real events. I think someone more experienced should answer it.

The second sounds more emotional, dealing with your current observations and concerns. When I have dreams of birth, it usually has to do with projects. In this case, I would guess that he is about to undertake a goal (band, starting school year) and there are signs/fears/indications that it might fall through.

Welcome snowshoe! You did find the right place. :D Here's possible insight...being on a dirt path could indicate that you been enduring a spiritual desert of sorts, not getting a lot of fellowship maybe or feeling dry? The cots could symbolize being given spiritual rest and that many other Christians are also in seclusion. This to encourage the deepening of spiritual roots and relationship with Jesus! As well as to allow for spiritual cleansing (laundry baskets of idols), healing, and refining in private. The people on the ski lift could be ministering angels sent to help relieve those on the cots of their burdens and idols. In today's techno, vainglorious, materialistic world, idolatry more of an issue than ever before...explaining why the baskets need to be emptied so quickly! A Christian may give up one idol, though replace it with another one, instead of Christ. :prayer:

Hosea 2:14-15 Therefore, behold, I will allure her, and bring her into the wilderness, and speak comfortably unto her. And I will give her her vineyards from thence, and the valley of Achor for a door of hope: and she shall sing there, as in the days of her youth, and as in the day when she came up out of the land of Egypt.

Hosea 10:12 Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the LORD, till He come and rain righteousness upon you.

The dream about your son could indicate that he is hoping (pregnant) for something particular...yet this hope may not come to fruition and it appears that he won't even notice...won't be upset, nor disappointed, but rather will keep keeping on! Seems you experienced phantom labor pains and this could confirm your son was hoping for something unnecessary...had a false hope that Jesus will painlessly remove from him. ;)
