-What do babies mean in dreams?

Once in a dream, I was standing in a small room and I was wearing a white robe. In front of me where two babies (I think it was one boy and one girl) wearing white gowns. I picked up one of them and walked outside.

When I stepped outside it looked like I was in a small village. People were sitting in the grass wearing white gowns. They looked like they were waiting for something. And I'm not sure what race they were but they were dark skinned and had soft looking hair.

A saw a man jumped up and he motioned to me and began to file people onto an old looking, white school bus.

- That was the end of the dream, but my sister also had a dream. And in the dream she was driving a bus full of foreign people up a hill (or mountain). She didn't know where she was going so she asked someone and he told her to follow the bus in front of her.

I think that the bus she was driving could of been yellow and mine was white. But in the dream I believe that she was following my bus.

I'd like to ask a question here.
Gifts from our Lord is from the Holy Spirit right? If so, why would translating a dream be hard? It's the Holy Spirit that provides the understanding, not man?
Please let me know that this is from the Holy Spirit. And please don't edit me this time. As Christians we are to be open and honest with one another. I have a concern as a Christian. Thanks

First, your other post was edited by a moderator at my request. You were asking if I was upset with you and as I said in my reply to your dream that I was not at all, so I saw no reason for the post to be there.

Second, yes gifts certainly come from the Holy Spirit and like the Scriptures exhort, not all of us have the same gifts, so some find their dreams difficult to understand...exactly why God gives some the gift of dream interpretation. And while that specific gift is not listed in the gift lists of Romans 12 and 1 Corinthians 12, there are many other gifts that are not there either (like singing for example), though nonetheless they are considered gifts that bring glory to Jesus!

1 Corinthians 12:4-6, 29-31 There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit. There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. There are different kinds of working, but the same God works all of them in all men...Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Do all work miracles? Do all have gifts of healing? Do all speak in tongues? Do all interpret? But eagerly desire the greater gifts. And now I will show you the most excellent way.

I'd like to ask a question here.

jan003! Babies and buses could symbolize the beginning of a new ministry! Would seem possibly that you and your sister could be a team of evangelists called to a foreign field...to minister at an orphanage!?! All the white gowns could represent a Divine Appointment, standing on holy ground, as you preach Jesus to the eagerly awaiting and obviously receptive people! White could also signify the purity of your hearts!

Yellow could symbolize God's glory, authority, light, and warmth! Going up a hill or mountain could represent helping to bring people to Christ!

Matthew 5:14-16 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

Psalm 24:1-5 The earth is the LORD's, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it; for He founded it upon the seas and established it upon the waters. Who may ascend the hill of the LORD? Who may stand in His holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who does not lift up his soul to an idol or swear by what is false. I an apocalyptic dream about a year ago.



It was nighttime, I looked out over the vast horizon and there was a huge red sun setting, then The earth shake with a great earthquake, the sky and earth shook. I saw a fire in the top left of the night sky, then The fire turned into a great eagle that circled from right to left in the center of the sky. Then the eagle turned into the Lord, His brilliance was like a huge bright star kind of bluish/purple.

This reassures me, that no matter how fearsome the end of this age will be and look. Our Lord soars over and watches His creation...we are not abandoned, and He is still and has always been greater than His works.

Hears my dream,

I was standing in the center of the floor of some kind of arena with bleachers, there were 6 or 7 (can't remember exactly) people sitting In the two middle rows, they had big eyes and were sitting still like statues, As I faced them, a very popular television evangelist was standing behind me with his arms wrapped around me, swaying me from side to side, He said “I don’t know if I can save this one”, Then I was standing just to his right side. He said “I’m going to help you but you failed the test”. He said “How long do you think this will continue”.I said “I could die at any time”. We then went up a flight of stairs beside the bleachers, I was then sitting in a chair with my back to the preacher, he was about 10-12 feet behind me just over my right shoulder, he was looking down at a small note pad/tablet I think he had a pencil. Directly in front of my face was a green majesty palm bush, it was right in my face. I said “But I’m different (I said this is because I have always seen things in the spirit (decerning of spirits)), the preacher said, “I’ll put salt in your eyes.”



3 or 4 months latter, many things have happened to me, I was attacked by the enemy
(I did a sin) Jesus came to me after I was attacked and worked on me, I thought everything was ok after he left, somthing ketp calling my name, then I figured out there was a evil spirit trying to deceive me. It still attacks me, It wave's a palm bush in my face. etc., and I'm in constant warfare.

For your pondering,

Some TV evangelists appear to revel in being the center of attention and put on a good 'show'. The people with big eyes like statues could symbolize those that are duly impressed by these performers even though they have zilch in terms of spiritual life to offer their followers. Obviously, Jesus is the Only Savior! So the evangelist seems he arrogantly implying that he has the power to save...he trying to persuade you that HE (rather than God) can help you, especially at a low time in your life...his note taking seems a demonic scheme to make you think God keeps a record of wrongs, that is in total opposition to the unconditional love of Christ.

Salt in your eyes seems a warning from God that following a vainglorious preacher would be like adding salt to your wounds...as he would probably just take your money.

Hi HumbleBee...I think I have gotten a continuation of my "school" dream...

I have been dreaming but the part I remember starts here:

I see myself appear or sitting in the passenger side of a moving car. We are driving east and I know we are on part of the old bus route I used to ride as a child in grade school.

The driver does not see me or makes no indication she or he sees me.

I put my hand to the drivers face to speak to him or her...I can see the driver is sad...maybe thinking of suicide...I tell the driver God love them and I say other things...the driver is greatly encouraged and cheers up.

Now we are headed back in the direction of the school..We pass yards that have pastures in the back of the houses...there are a lot of horses in them...too many horses for the size of the pastures...I tell the driver I would not get a horse from one of those places...but the driver says...he(?) would. We move on to see lots of people and horse activities going on...then I see abandoned pens and facilities for horses...I am looking for the horse I sold. I see him; he has not been taken care of, coat looks bad and some kind of growth or debris is hanging from his nose. He (lays down?) I get the debris off...there has been a sore there...he recognizes me from smelling my hand.

My old horse seems to be near my childhood home.

Then I am back at the school yard again...the driver is there but I know I am going to have to walk home. I have 2 big tote bags...I put a couple different pair of shoes in the bag...something partly wrapped is in one bag but I can't see what it is.

Sometime ago I had a dream and in my dream I was in a big metal post bed and in a room that I have never seen before. In this room was big double french doors leading to the outside. I did not hear anything but I felt like someone or something was telling me to come to it. I kept saying no till finally in my dream the bed lifted off the floor and started going towards the doors. I screamed no I will serve the Lord my God at that the bed dropped to the floor the doors flew open it became very cold and started to snow into the room. I then woke up.

Your dream could have been a demonic spirit trying to draw you away from Jesus and serving Him. Snow as in snow job, tends to symbolize deception. So you did well to discern that was a devilish spirit and not Divine.

i had another one. My family and i were riding a subway train (something i have done once and just rememberd just now) and some group of people were out to get us we got off and was in a tunnel and then fire that does not burn came and swept us away and into god waiting arms off of the planet. i know this may reprersent the rapture but i was not thinking of this either today or for the past week

i had another dream. my wife and i had a little baby boy he was a new born. and all of my immediate family came and visited. and i went out car shopping and woke up


right around a year ago, i had a similar dream but it involved a older kid about 7 years old i had been sleeping in the dream when my son (in the dream) woke me up and my wife came in carring a baby. rejoyced and held my other son then i woke for real


agian like the rapture dreams i was not thinking of being a father at all


and had recieved a word from god not to worry about being a father because i was to be called like a father by many of his children.


and where I longed to be a father for a long time i am content with the blessing and the vision god bistowed on me.

i just would like to know what the dreams in my last two posts mean.

Your first dream would seem to be about the End Times. As for these dreams about sons, could be literal, a Divine foretelling of your sons on the way...to give you and your wifey hope! Also a newborn could symbolize bringing to birth a new ministry. Car shopping could represent trying to decide what type of ministry. The # 7 tends to symbolize completion. You can certainly be confident that whatever good work started (and Divine Promises made), God will complete! (Philippians 1:6)
