Does this mean no one can 'Reply' without becoming a paid up member on this site then? There's no clear message about that at Sign Up stage.

No it does not.

You should not need a paypal account to pay securely via credit card.

I hesitate to become a "site supporter" since any mod might ban me for blasphemy, which means that I offended the sensibilities of the mod or mods. Or they may decide that in defending my (non-Christian) opinions I am "proselytizing". I am content to let God handle blasphemy, but humans are not. The mods on this forum can't burn me, but they can silence me. Then it is just money wasted.

But now that there has been hacking and I had to get a new card, I'm using as few businesses as possible with my card.

I supported your site just over a year ago with $20 donation. There was no requirement then - I would like to know more about the site who owns and runs it currently and their beliefs, before supporting it again. To be honest these are just religious forums mainly, as there is no presentation of the Gospel on the site except for a post somewhere on the forums, meanwhile you give a prominent link for sale of adspace.
