CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Well as usual, everyone else is playing games, and don't care, but as for me, the Rapture would be nice about now. I'm tired of five years of loneliness, after my wife was taken Home Dec. 18th, 2009.

Sorry, to hear about your loneliness, bartony.
I'm having a lot of fun meeting people, I get out to meetups and other activities several times a week. I have the best relationships of my life thanks to all I've learned about how to have a meaningful conversation. So I plan to keep spending time with people. Every conversation I find I learn something and I can give something each time as well. So I'll keep doing what I'm doing, as I don't know how it could get any better.

In answer to the question I want to stay in the Lord's will for me, and to know His care. I'm very happy to be retired, and I hope that I will not have the time pressures I had when working. I've found the last few years much better than the previous fifteen or so, and I hope that continues. At some point I would like to meet up with friends whom I haven't seen for years, and what I would love is to see my friends and relations come to know the Lord. That would be the best thing!

I'm not really living in a cage in a cave somewhere, davedajobauk. Sorry if I left that impression. I get out, do things... Go places. I have a new young friend I enjoy being with. Just last week she took me out AGAIN to eat and even bought me a Christmas tree! She has spoiled me rotten. Bought me a new computer chair, and for my birthday, an HP color printer. April has really gone the mile for me. She is like a daughter to me, but sometimes, the other kind of love!

and I am presently, endeavouring to make it easier for her to update the list
I am of-course pleased to see, you 'living'
and, with your eyes wide-open
I am not posting (here) 'quite as much' as I have in past years
although I am keeping my eye, on the Prayer Requests Thread
on most days of the week
My Mary's health and her treatments have been quite time-consuming
and involves a great deal of travelling to and from her treatments
and monitoring reviews
(Esophageal cancer and secondaries in Tummy and small intestine)
The 'type' she has, is, an aggressive form and so is 'inoperable'
due to the likelihood of it's rapid spreading to other organs /bones
where it could /would become untreatable
We live from 'day to day' (in gratitude) for each and every day we are given
