Life.. why live it

Is it just me or does life just seem like a curtain pulled down in front of us. All this great stuff in heaven, trees with 12 fruits, mansions made of gold and no more hate... What is the point in living this life.. its just a short part of eternity... Theres so much violence and stuff going on in the world what is the point. Every day its the same thing... sometimes I just wish a comet would hit the earth or the country would get nuked...

im tired of all the stuff i put up with at home from parents and siblings what the heck is the good in all of this. since theres a heaven waiting with everything.... i just dont know im tired i cant understand anymore..

I can understand your question in some ways. "Why do we have to wait for Heaven?" "Lord, if it's going to be like that then take me home now!" -- the description of Heaven and all it has makes us long for it. We were made for Heaven. The reason we still live on this earth is because God still has plans for us to fulfill before we go. Our job is to tell as many people as we can about Jesus so that they can have a chance to go to Heaven too. When we accept Christ, our life doesn't get easier, it gets harder. But the pain we experience here, is next to nothing, compared to the awesome glory of Heaven. This will be one of the most common things said in Heaven "Man, living life on earth was hard and there was alot of pain, but let me tell you what, IT WAS WORTH IT"

We have everything we need, sometimes we don't realise that though.

I can understand your frustration with life, however, God put us here for a purpose.

For I know the purposes which I am purposing for you, says Jehovah; purposes of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.
(Jer 29:11)

God knows us, knows our hearts, knows our desire for Him. When things get ******, turn to Him, give Him praise for all you do have. Just like Paul said:
For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain. But if I live in the flesh, this is the fruit of my labor. Yet I do not know what I shall choose. For I am pressed together by the two: having a desire to depart and to be with Christ, which is far better. But to remain in the flesh is more needful for you.
(Phi 1:21-24)

Paul knew he needed to still fulfill his purpose. He was needed to guide others. God needs you for a purpose. You are His special chosen beautiful child. He loves you sooo much.

No temptation has taken you but what is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but with the temptation also will make a way to escape, so that you may be able to bear it.
(1Co 10:13)

Yeah sometimes it is the best thing to bring Heaven to earth once in a while.
Invite God's presence and spend some time with Him alone or with others, worshiping, praying and listening to Him. It's better than bliss because you don't have to be ignorent.

Its a good question, why bother. Im faced with this question a lot. I figure, if God loves me he will try to protect me from all the dangers of the world. So far hes done a good job. Life tends to repeat itself a lot and we cant help that. I dunno why we live for or why we bother. I really have no idea...

The great thing about God is He doesn't need to try to protect us...i don't think it is apart of his vocab!

We live for God, to serve Him, praise Him, give Him glory, and bring more people to his kingdom!

Ephesians is a great encouragement to me, maybe it could be to you to!

we are here to serve God only.and we need to encourage one another to press on towards the goal. What's our goal and main purpose here on the earth,to save the lost and go home to live with Jesus FOREVER!!!!!!!!

As Christians, I believe we're called to live as though the world were as it should be, to show it what it can be.

Salvation happens now, in this life, and carries us to the next one. As such, we should show it... to be stewards and "display cases" of God's abundant Grace to those in this world who really, really need it at the darkest times of their lives.

sweetie,the Bible clearly tells us that these sort of things will happen in the last days. Look up and never give up,keep pressing towards the goal and don't let Satan let you think that it's not worth it. And don't let him let you think that thinking that way is healthy. Think positive Godly thoughts and you will feel better about the wonderful Earth that He made for us to enjoy!!!
