Tey use my equipment, I get everything at wholesale, so it lowers the cost per person from about $70+ to maybe $40 each. We head out, play paintball, BBQ then have a devotional. First outing is July 10th, so if you're in SE Michigan you're welcome to join us.

1. Open hood
2. Stare
3. Point
But I hear cars are just like computers, robots and rips in the fabric of time. Leave them alone, and eventually they'll fix themselves.

My next plan is to start a youth-group based financial something or other. Either a Church Investment Club, or maybe just a class on savings/investment stuff.
Oh yeah, I also co-run a yearly BBQ called "Meatfest". we get about 7 guys (r girls) on grills, BYOBeverages, food's free, so's the entertainment (bring out the TVs, watch the Lion's game in the park). Then vote on who's got the best grill
$15 coversd field time, $20 covers 1,000 rds of paint, $5 covers gun rental. Nothing I can do about field time cost, I get the paint really cheap, and the $5 for gun rental goes to the business so I get get more equipment, take more kids.fishstix said:That sounds really cool. $40 though - that's in US dollars, right? How much ammo does that include? It costs about the equivalent of $25 to $30 US per person to play paintball here.

If you're planning on working, what sort of career are you hoping to get into? Or if you already have a career, what is it? Lately, I've been thinking that I would really like teaching - perhaps high school science.
Yeesh, not outdoor. I'd like to try it, but it's hard to find people to go with for some reason.fishstix said:Ah. More paint. That explains the cost difference. In that case, your deal may indeed be a bit cheaper than here; at any rate your paint seems to cost less per ball. But I bet you don't play in the middle of winter when it's -15°C (5°F) like we can here

I figure I'll pick up a couple sets of body armor. It's hard to get girls interested in paintball. Well, it's easier to find guys, in my experience, there's just not too many girls interested in running around in the woods getting shot at. Body armor, puffy sweaters, those all help.fishstix said:Yes, outdoorsJust tell them that the shots don't hurt as much when you're wearing thick winter clothing
BTW, you have to use special paintballs.
Really? I would be absolutely down for that. Maybe I'm just weird...iklepac13 said:Well, it's easier to find guys, in my experience, there's just not too many girls interested in running around in the woods getting shot at.
That'd be cool. My fried Krystal came with us last time, and my buddy's GF is joining us this weekend. I'm not making generalizations about women in the sport, but from wat I've seen, it's mostly dudes, and it's been harder for me to get girls to play.Echoes Peak said:Really? Next time you're in Michigan we can set up a game or something. You know, grrrl power.

I sell o-rings...how exciting is that! What would I like to do...train dogs for the disabled. I have started taking small steps. I bought a Newfie and hope she has the disposition to become a Therapy Dog. I pray that God has the same plan for my life...I've been thinking, dreaming and hoping to do this for ...oh...8-10 years!fishstix said:From reading this message board, one would almost come to the conclusion that single people think about nothing but their future spouse and that everything they do is for the sole purpose of one day meeting and marrying that special person. It would seem that all of life revolves around one central purpose - marriage. As a single person, I know that there is a whole lot more to life than just waiting and preparing for marriage. And marriage or the pursuit of marriage is not the central purpose of life. Especially since lots of people don't even know if they will ever get married.
