Life coaching

Hey all

I would like your personal opinion on life coaching,
This was suggested to me after december/Jan my life has been turned upside down,
Instead of being sacked I still got a slap in the face-My hours have been significantly reduced because they think i cant cope but in truth was the only thing that kept me going 6 a week to be exact, I think tis to ease their own conscience

SO life coaching was brought up to help me but Ithink its a bit of an american thing...so where better to ask what its REALLY like,
Because I don't want to waste money I dont have

I can't say I've ever heard of "life coaching" but I'm curious as to what it is. It sounds kinda like combining a therapist with an accountability partner and a personal trainer....

I think that it may have some good things to offer. For me, it would depend on whether or not the coach would respect your beliefs as a christian. Also, the cost would be a big factor. Also, you have to think about whether or not you have the time to do something like that.

A life coach is someone who helps you with your life goals, whether it be career goals or personal achievement. They dissect your life/work experiences and help you build on the good things and help you with the issues that confuse or block you from succeeding. They help you set goals and encourage you to meet them.
