  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

This week on “Our Jewish Roots” a mini-series called “Jehovah’s Treasure.” is launched. In many ways it’s an adventure story as we tell the remarkable story of the Ark of the Covenant and the Temple Treasures. We document the unearthing of a secret tunnel near Qumran, following archeologists as they dig deep underground. Most of all we tell the story of the Jehovah’s real treasure, the Jewish People.

Don’t miss it on Daystar, TBN, YouTube or online at levitt.com

"God of Avraham, Yitschak and Ya`akov" isn't enough?

We could talk about that; but I suspect that it would severely derail this thread.

Right now I'm trying to find the video. If I do a YouTube search for “Our Jewish Roots” + “Jehovah’s Treasure”, #1,#2,#3, and #6 of the series comes up. If I add Qumran to the search; #6 disappears. If I go to the “Our Jewish Roots” YouTube channel; I don't see anything posted for that series, anytime recently.

I'm deeply interested in Qumran.

@visionary What number is it in the series?

Yes, it's been made very clear to me recently that I am seen as a unique derailer.

(70 minutes on 1 DVD) Five years in the making and narrated by David Dolan, a long-time friend of ZLM and former Jerusalem reporter for CBS, Jehovah’s Treasure uniquely documents the unearthing of two extraordinary tunnels in the Judean Desert. These tunnels were discovered after the Copper Scroll, one of the Dead Sea Scrolls, indicated that Temple treasures were buried all over Israel, some near the caves of Qumran where the Scrolls were discovered. Archaeologist Oren Gutfeld kindly permitted us to document three years of his excavations in tunnels that descend at a perfect 35 degrees for 425 feet—tunnels dating back to the First Temple Period. Nowhere else in all of Israel has anyone found tunnels like these.

Thus, with interviews and dramatic re-enactments, Jehovah’s Treasure presents the biblical account of the Ark and the Temple Treasures. At the same time, it uncovers the incredible mystery of tunnels that may lead to the very same treasures.

Is history finally about to unleash its most profound desert secrets? Will the Holy Treasures be revealed at the end of the Judean tunnels? Or will they remain a secret, buried deep within Jerusalem’s politically contested Temple Mount? Jehovah's Treasure — The Quest for the Ark of the Covenant and Temple Treasures

Those guys are selling tours to those who accept the standard narrative. However, scripture, history, and archaeology don't seem to support the standard narrative. It seem that few are willing to declare that the King is wearing no clothes.

Here is one source who brings an objective approach to the subject of the Temple's location:

The "Temple Mount" is Roman Fort Antonia

This one was one of my favorites in this series. He gives great vantage points, throughout the Jerusalem, to bring perspective.
