Levi update

Hey all!
an update from me. I go back to work in two weeks so hopefully I'll be able to do more than just update. Anyway, his glucose has been good and we haven't had any problems there. Still on his medicine of course. His pediatrician is however pretty concerned about the heart murmur they've been hearing. PLEASE pray faithfully about this. I am trying to depend on God and put my trust in Him but honestly I am pretty scared. Please pray for the protection of my son and the strength and comfort of his parents.
Also, please pray for Graig and I. We've been having a rough time relationally and we really just don't get enough time together as a couple. We are going out for our birthdays tomorrow night. Please pray that we can tlak alot and enjoy being together. Pray for our communication in general.
Like I said I should be back more often starting in a couple weeks. I miss you guys and can't wait to start chatting it up again. I'll be here at my in laws doing laundry a couple times this week so I should be able to come to CF then as well.

Having a sick child will take it's toll on a marriage, I mean how could it not, I can't think of anything more stressful.

I will pray for Levi and for you and your husband. I hope you will have a good evening tomorrow and get to re-connect as a couple, not just as Levi's parents.

I agree with Linnis... it is absolutely understandable for you and your husband to be struggling relationally. Even without having to test glucose a new baby takes from sleep and I know my husband and I are both very crabby with no sleep. When our son was born we were even too tired to be crabby. It gets better!! I will stop and pray right now for your son's heart to be found "okay," I don't really know what a murmer is but God does.

Has your pediatrician referred you to a pediatric cardiologist to do an echo? My son has a heart condition with the only symptom being a murmur and this is the first thing they ordered.
