God led me to this verse during one of the darkest times in my life. It was an inspiration, and still is!

Hey Deacon Dean,

I'm assuming you're not a native of Greece ? And if so, how difficult is it to learn Greek ? It sounds interesting to me to study the scriptures in Greek....Do you feel any different after reading the Greek scriptures ? Like, perhaps enlightened more or something ? Closer to God ?

I was encouraged in seminary classes to take Greek. As my teacher said:

"I can translate the verses for myself and not have to rely on any mans opinion."

It does make studying a "richer" experience.

I will say this, if your good in English grammer, Greek should be no problem. And I have found on several occasions, that the English equivelent, just don't have the "umph" that the Greek does.
