How about cyberspace cooking where we each add an ingredient or cooking instruction to the previous post to make a dish? I don't know if it will work, so let's see what we end up with. I'll start by:

Sifting 12 ounces of flour into a bowl and....

I added spices and mixed the ingredients together and...

I dipped my finger to taste the mix
and decided to add, one and a half teaspoonsful of dried ginger

add 2 pounds of mixed dried fruit and stirr well....

became too stiff to turn out
so, added two tablespoonsful full cream milk
and stirred until smooth

aha - somewhere along the line we forgot to add the bottle of Guiness
try adding that and give it a good stir and then get everyone in the house to give it a good stir too

too late! there is enough liquid already incorporated LOL

am looking for a cake tin with a removable bottom disc ? anyone?

pre-heat the oven to 180 degrees.

line the tin with greaseproof and spoon the mix into it
making sure to expel air bubbles

and put in the oven. Check after 30 - 40 mins.

sticking to pallette knife so will leave another ten to fifteen minutes
after covering top with greaseproof paper

and then sprinkle with powdered sugar

put on a wire rack to cool..

Then eat it up! Yum! Think of another to bake.
