I used to be attractive, with dark hair and a tiny waist, and a clear complection when I was too young and shy to do anything about it. Now I'm older and not so shy, but men tend to look at the ceiling and whistle tunelessly when I show up. Then they look at their watch. And leave.

I used to test really high, no matter what the test was, and now I can't remember my kids' birth days. Or their names.

I played pieces on the piano that were concert level, and now am unable to play hardly at all. I have a harpsichord I can't play, too.

Nobody loves me. Except God, and he has to.

And who thought of this dumb thread? Now I'm all depressed, and it's somebody's fault. But not mine.
