C'mon man. Don't tell me nobody around here has seen one of the best films of the year--and one of the best vampire movies.....ever.

Seriously, would Hammer put their name on something that wasn't GREAT?

We saw this last night, paid full price, and the money was well spent.

And I know it will be sacrilege to say this, but I'll say it anyway: It's even better than the Swedish original. I didn't think it would be possible, and at one point I was convinced that they'd really mess it up, but they didn't.

Great movie. Go see it.

Best vampire movie remains Herzog's Nosferatu.

I haven't watched a ton of vampire movies, but so far Interview with a Vampire has been my favorite.

I haven't watched Let Me In yet, but it's on my 'To See' list.

Just saw it. Its as good as Interview was but in a different way.

If you like vampire movies don't miss this one.

i still have not seen it but Let the Right One In (foreign version) was a great film. I think you should see that one too. This one is based off that original film.
I see you don't think the original is as good. I disagree,greatly.

Just watched Let Me In today. I liked it, it wasn't what I expected, but I still liked it.

I can't imagine Chloe Moretz surpassing the performance of Lina Leandersson, who exudes an unclean, unwholesome wretchedness, yet somehow is captivating at the same time.

Anyway, I've had the Let the Right One In experience, and I don't need another. Just like if you've enjoyed the remake, it is probably pointless seeing the original.

I absolutely LOVED the film. I did enjoy the Swedish film but didn't think it was the masterpiece that it was made out to be. I think this was in part because I read the book first and loved it. And I was saddened by how much they cut out of the book to fit into a film. But I suppose that is always expected. But Moretz and the boy who played Owen, I forget his name, were fantastic.

Ok so...I saw it and loved the english version so I was amazed how beautiful Owen and Abby were in Let Me In.

Only seen the Swedish original and it was pretty good. Nice to see a resonably "old-school" vampire movie and not the teen angst garbage they consist of today. Been thinking of watching the US remake but have had some reservations against it.

I did too. I finally gave it a chance and the actors are so real. I loved it.
