Let Down Again:(

Hi everyone its me again.
im tired of people letting me down.
im supposed to have a friend coming tonight and is she here no. the amount of times this has happened is ridiculous. is this me? is this all my life becomes. people letting me down left, right and centre.
im really sick of it all. yes but thats so called wonderful life,.

Amen, Could have said it better. Sister I wish i lived closer to you, or you to me. I would love to give you a big hug, and tell everything will be ok. For WE KNOW JESUS AND LOVE HIM> He will never leave us. He loves us uncontionally, I praise God for you.

Maybe this person will be taught a lesson from God, not to abuse a friendships, We are human, But God is mighty, He will put a friend in your life, He mets Our needs, not always the wants. I am praying for this for you. You are a very kind, loving, uplifting words you use, awesome. We all get let down in life, But it's all up to you in how you take it. You need to take a stand, If this person keeps doing this to you, You need to tell this person, this will not happen again, For you are tired of this. And I am not going to waste my time no more. Maybe that could be her eye opener.

I recommend that you Pray first. Those words I had to use in my life, for the same reason. That person and I are now better friends then ever. God just had to teach her a lesson and me too. Not TO BE ABUSED> You need someone to love you, and care for you, and to be there for you.

Can I ask you a question?
Is this friend meet this standard?

If not Just Call on Jesus, He is there waiting for you, to hold you close to him, He will not let you down. There's a lesson in this, just look for it, you will find it. I am praying that you do sooner then later.

i agree, it hurt more from Christians, because we put them on a different level. You exspect someone that don't know better to do things like this. BUT WE ARE ALL HUMANS> Praying for you both. GOd bless you always. You are treassured in my heart dear friend.

Sorry you've been let down again. I wanted to know if you've ever confronted the people who continueously let you down and don't keep their word? If not, you really should do so. These people are either taking advantage of your gentle personality or else they don't even realize that they have hurt you because you have not made it know to them. If they have promised to meet with you and then fail to show up, they are being extremely selfish and not valuing you or your time as being as important as theirs. You need to call your friend on not showing up! Not in a nasty way but just call and say, hey I waited for you for ___ (amount of time) last night and you didn't even show up! What happened? Why didn't you call me to let me know you weren't coming? Tell them that it hurts you when you've made plans with them and the blow you off. If it is because they just forget things all the time, you could say, that the next time you guys make plans, that you will call them the day before and remind them. Don't just keep letting things go by without saying anything to them. They probably don't even know that you are hurt, they probably don't even remember that you guys even had plans (I've had a friend like that..I had to constaintly remind her so she wouldn't forget). They are going along great and it's you who is mad and hurt. You might as well get it all out in the open, you don't want to keep that inside.

Sometimes God lets people let you down because He knows that then you would rely on them, instead of Him. i can totally relate to what you have been feeling though... I tend to want to rely on my family a lot, but they aren't there for me much either.

I cant believe this but the same person has let me down again! first time it was cos her mother in law had to go into hospital, which i can accept. now she has gone to a meeting where she is supposed to be coming to see me. im just so TIRED of it all really..

My heart breaks for you, after I read what you wrote....I AM SOOOOOOOOO SORRY that these people do this to you!!! Remember it is NOT YOU, heck I know you and you are a jewel!!!!
