Every one of us is taught by God through our lives. It is those who are listening who can share these messages. I am writing this as God speaks to my heart that we are all part of each other. From the least to the greatest in Christ we are one. This is a call to all who are listening to add what they have learned to this post and I will also continue to add what God speaks to me. Let us learn from one another and pray for one another as children of the King.
1. Every day is a new day unto the Lord. If there is one thing God desires us to learn from it is from his grace. It is new each morning like the sunrise. If his love reflects off you so should you shine with grace and forgiveness.Fill with this grace and love and let your cup overflow. If you dont share it how will your cup continue to fill? You may hold unto these burdens of unforgiveness and not realize it. God holds not a list of your wrongs, and neither should you. Not toward your spouse, your kids, your friends, or even your enemies. That which you hold unto burdens your heart unless love is all that you allow to flow from it. How can you move forward if you keep looking back? Let yourself be forgiven, and forgive all wrong daily.
2. Be content with where you are, who you are, what you have, and who you are with.You cant be blessed by God if your not thankful.God loves you despite your failure, no matter your location, and apart from circumstances. If your not at peace with your life then you not truly at peace with God. Perfectionists beware Heaven is the only perfect place for only there do we see the whole picture and become one with it. Now is the day of your testing you are being conformed to his image, and transformed by the renewing of your mind. For we have not the mind of Christ, but the Spirit of God is creating it in us as we submit all to God.
3. Submit your mind to God. Seek it, ask to be one with God, and listen to what he has to teach.Only then will you learn and grow. When you stop the process of growth the lesson will continue to repeat itself. When you fail to listen God will discipline his children. Don't be mistaken his love endures, and you still have his hand with you. Jesus says,"Continue in my love, even as the Father has loved me so have I loved you."
4. Keep your eyes on Jesus in the storm. The ship may rock, it may take on water, but in Christ you will not sink. The storms of life are rough and they happen to all, but your hope is not in the circumstances of this world, but in the Resurrection of Christ. Sometimes things wont make sense. Listen they dont have to. They may be there to test your faith. Endure suffering as a soldier for Christ in a spiritual war where our bodies may suffer, but our soul is protected by God Almighty. On the other side of the storm is the stillness in God. Jesus can calm every storm and comfort every sorrow. Walk on the waves of this tumultuous world and trust in Jesus.
5. Love and trust is the answer. When the Devil is trying to make you believe God couldnt love you. Trusting God is the answer. He will never leave nor forsake you.His love endures forever. When you dont know what you can do for God, love is the answer. When judgment comes to your mind love is the answer.LOve God and love others. God hasnt called you to judge, but to love. If you need to warn someone of the consequences of sin you dont do it through judging them , but by humbly warning them in your love for them. LOve is the end of the law and the power of God's Spirit to comfort, to sanctify, to heal, and to save. If God did not love us he could do none of these things, even so without love we are nothing.
