How are you all doing with your Lenten abstinence or sacrifice? I didn’t give up anything, just praying the rosary. So far, so good. There were a couple times I didn’t feel like it but I did it anyway.

I'm not doing good with the sacrifices thing. There is one reddit sub that I've been avoiding, but every time I try to uninstall the FB app on my phone, I reinstall it a couple hours later. Gosh darn it I wish I remembered what the days were like when I didn't have any addiction to a phone screen.

I’m doing pretty awful. Need to carve out more time for structured prayer, such as the rosary.

Doing ok I think, but I forgot about ember days and haven't abstained Wednesday or today. Though I suppose I could catch up by not having dinner.

I did fall into a state of mortal sin a few days ago and need to go to confession, which is always kinda difficult with my constant work schedule but I think I should be able to go next Wednesday night.
