Scratch that. Traffic sucks there. Get the Jeep.

BTW, I'm pretty sure Latteda would like for you to get the Jeep. I wasn't sure if you were aware of this or not. She's been kinda quiet about voicing her preference.
Really? Are you sure she would vote Jeep? I mean.. I think she's mentioned something about a Jeep before.. but I had no idea she really liked them. :o:sorry:

'86 Chevy Celebrity station wagon. And yes, it does have a rack on the roof for my surfboard/snowboard/tent/additional passengers.
Awesome!

How do you afford these cars? Especially living in SoCal! You must have a really good paying job eh?
No.. I barely cut by paycheck to paycheck. All my cars have been kind of old cars. Like, they look good and run good, but that's because I put all of my effort into keeping them clean and running well. They payments on the cars themselves are very low (for example, Im only paying $150 a month for my BMW.) I do all repairs/maint myself. Back when I drove my truck, it was only $180 a month and I was living with my parents at the time (so no rent). As for this project Im asking about.. you can pick up these old cars for under $1,000 most the time. (Not the motorcycle though, since it's new..) That's why Im looking for a project car. Most likey when I do get it.. it wont run, it will be rusted, etc.. It will need a LOT of my elbow grease. hah.

The Jeep and motorcycle are the coolest to me. But I like the Jeep better. Also Jeeps are safer than motorcycles in accidents... But Jeeps suck up a lot more gas.

I'm biased......because I'm a 'truck person' when it comes to guys. So, I voted for the Chevy.

For some reason, the guy seems more attractive and masculine to me if they drive a truck.
That's funny.. I feel the exact same way about girls. I was driving in front of a brunette girl yesterday that was driving a lifted 2002(ish) Chevy Silverado. I couldn't stop lookin in the review mirror. There is something about a girl hopping down out of a big lifted truck that just... wow. :sorry:

Very true. Thanks for the input.

My parents were always a little hesitant when I said I wanted an old Jeep. (The Jeeps tend to be tall and skinny, so they roll fairly easy if I lose control):doh:Then I'd just say "that's why I get the lift and the big, wide, offroad tires. :p"

Well if I can't afford a Jeep, the next best thing is for my friends to get them!

Of course, that could result in jealousy, which could become a really bad thing. :sorry:
Well I'll make you a deal, if I get my CJ5 or CJ7 and I get it all running and everything.. you are welcome to come drive it.

The first car I ever drove was a Jeep. :) My best friend's mom has one and she was teaching me and my friend how to drive when we were 15. (My friend hit the hay bales after I said that it was possible to drive in between them.)
My ex bf had a Jeep too, but he just sold it.
Jeeps are cool, especially when you get to go off road with them.
