So I'm trying to decide where my project desires will lead me. Im always back and fourth on this topic, but now I want you guys to help me pick one to go for.

Quick history of me:

I owned a Mitsubishi 3000GT in high school (Dad now owns it), then bought a Silverado and offroaded it (sold it), now I have my BMW 328iS as my one and only car (need a project car for side fun).

- Jeep CJ-5 or CJ-7 to restore and lift to turn into an offroad toy.

- Late 90's Chevy Silverado Z-71 to also lift and turn into an offroad toy.

- 80's BMW 3 series (E30) to turn into a track car/drifting/mess around car.

- Get my motorcycle license, pick up a junker used motorcycle to learn to ride well, then pick up a Suzuki GSX-R 600.

My ex father-in-law has a black restored CJ-5. It's pretty sweet.

I do like the Jeeps, I really do. But I personally like the bike better. That is the exact model I've considered getting. The Jeep is a gas hog. Although it would be pretty nice to have in that good SoCal weather.

Nice.. yeah, I was considering gas options too.. However, since this will be my project car/fun toy, it wont be driven as often. So gas saving isn't really necessary to factor in. :)

I voted for the bike because it seems more fun and suited to nice Southern California weather.
Sweet.. thanks for the vote. I was also thinking it would help me out greatly with some traffic issues around here too. :holy:

The only downside is that people tend to get hurt a lot around here.. Bad drivers + motorcycle = bad drivers hitting the motorcycles. :(

My sister will be pretty mad at me too. She is scared of me getting one and getting hurt..

Maybe a bike isn't the best idea then. My secondary vote would be for a jeep.
