Hello dude:
It seems so strange to me that you would ask that question since lately the Lord has been convicting me about things I say and do. The Lord wants us to lead a blameless life.
Everyone has to judge himself or herself against what the Word of the Lord says.
Recently I read Psalm 101. In that book and chapter, I read,
"
2 I will be careful to lead a blameless life
when will you come to me?
I will conduct the affairs of my house
with a blameless heart.
3 I will not look with approval
on anything that is vile.
So I would ask you to judge yourself. Is "Legion" vile? I would say it was since it doesn't portray the Lord in a positive light (or did it?)
Now of course, we can all say, "But I didn't "look with approval" on it. My response to that would be that you paid money for it, and you watched it, and you filled your eyes with it, and your mind was filled with it. To me, that would mean that you did look with approval. If not, would you have walked out and maybe even asked for your money back?
The Lord doesn't allow us to be curious and sin. I was curious once about a wrong thing, tried it, and paid a dear price for my sin that I am suffering from to this day.
However, you may believe that you are blameless, and if so, then you are the one who has to stand before the Lord for He is the ultimate judge.
But if you do think it was wrong, then God has a simple remedy:
I John 1:
8 If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us.
9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.
The Lord's ways are very simple because we are powerless without Him. If you sin, confess it (whatever you did wrong, simply tell Him you did it and that you now believe it was wrong), and He will purify you from all unrighteousness.
Now don't get me wrong. I do not believe that you can sin and sin and sin. I believe that we are all cut off when we produce no fruit or go bad for too long. That means the Lord takes us home.
John 15:
1 I [Jesus] am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener.
2 He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes
[a] so that it will be even more fruitful.
We, as Christians, are supposed to be "fruitful." If we are not producing into the kingdom, why would He want us here? He prunes us off the true vine, and He takes us home because we are not being productive--bearing no fruit.
God bless you in your decision where you should stand on this question you have. You will do what is right.
I didn't go and see it because I
believed it was likely to be blasphemous to my Lord because of the commercials I saw. I wouldn't pay to see something that portrayed my Lord badly.
God be with you.
