leg swelling

I have an appointment to see my doctor Wednesday.
Between my arthritis and weight my lower left leg has been swollen for a long time.
Probably because of the swelling wounds on that lower leg are not healing.

The meds I were taking did not seem to be helping much.
Praying that the doctor can figure out what will help with the swelling and with the wounds.

I am glad that you are going to see a doctor. 20 years ago I had problems with leg swelling but it was due to thrombosis. And I did have problems with healing of wounds as well. My doc prescribed special massage for this leg for a few weeks and special bandages, that helped.

In the meantime, try to keep your leg up as much as possible - and I pray that your leg will get well soon.
