One of the incidents at high school that have stayed with me was when I was in music class. Students were placed into groups or joined groups and I was the only one not in a group. My music teacher told me to go in a particular group and then one of the members of the group said she didn't want me in her group. I started to cry because of how I was treated.

Recently God showed me that a former classmate, a former friend of mine saying that "no one wants to sit beside you" after my sister began shouting at me. The teacher around us started laughing at how I was treated, she found it hilarious.

Persons have always made it clear that I do not belong anywhere. If I say something, anything, immediately persons become aggressive. They may it absolutely clear that they do not want to hear me even speak. That they do not want to see me, that me just existing, breathing is a problem. In my life it is common for women to rush after me, to attack me when I don't even say anything at all or do anything. This is where just seeing me causes them to behave violent towards me. One of these women, for instance, is a very good friend of my significant other who have tried to attack me several times.

The way that people have treated me has not gone unnoticed by God. Throughout every single day, Jesus Christ has to constantly show me he is there for me, that I am not alone. If Jesus Christ does not do this every day constantly I will not make it.

This hit home for me.

I often felt alone in my earlier years (and at times even now) like a loner, secluded from others. But I’ve realized how much God is with me, and how much of my time I can give to others who are looking for friendship. My doubts and despair crippled me to the opportunities I had of being a blessing to others.

If you are not well greeted out there in the secular world and Jesus is with you, you must really be a member of His body. Do you participate in body life in a church someplace ? You might find yourself fully accepted there. Now at work I was accepted by a few and even had a few come to me for prayers and guidance in tough times, yet those dry times went along with that ( I lived a long season of what you describe). We live for Christs purposes not those of the secular world around us, except to be a light for some ! You should find yourself more equally yoked in the body of Christ.
