Very often there is at least one left-fringe group associated with any one given denomination. So not too surprising.
In the SDA church such a group often "leads with Ellen White" even though Seventh-day Adventists lead with the Bible.
The left fringe seems to prefer to appeal to those with no information at all about Ellen White's background or teaching so they can spin small-snip statements from Ellen White taken out of historic and immediate context to conjur up a false narrative that only those who actually read the material and knew the context would see through.
In any case - it is sometimes helpful to see how that sort of thing can easily be debunked. So for those who have the time - take a look at the list of 7 failed accusations in post #1 below and then see how they are so easily debunked.

As we all know -- that kind of discussion is not meant to convince someone that Ellen White is a prophet -- it is merely to see whether a given set of complaints is merely fluff-hay-straw-stubble or if they are substantive.
