I did not read the teenagers series, but I think that creating that series was a great idea.
A friend that my mother and I met online like 5 yrs. ago sent us the first book, I read it last summer when I was sick and could not put it down. I bought the 2nd book, got the 3rd for Christmas. Then I borrowed the 4th and 5th from the library. They had the 6th one ready but I was getting ready to leave for university. I also got the 11th book, Armageddon, for Christmas since it was on sale. It's the only hard cover LB book I have.

I read the first 11 books in 3 weeks and could hardly wait until the 12th one came out! I love this series. It's kinda funny, but I was adrift in the atheistic sea until I started reading this series. By book 3 I'd started checking out other Christian books (mostly apologetics like Case for Christ, etc.) and decided to take the leap of faith. Now I'm a Christian and much more satisfied with life.

I've read all of the adult books, and I love them! I'm working my way through them for the second time, and am about to start book 5. I got about halfway through the kids series, but have never finished them...

Well I just have to comment on this, so sorry for the negativity.

The stories started out fine. Left Behind was a good book and a good story. The following two books were also fine. After this the books started to go down hill. The various story lines became way to convoluted, and the quality of the writing started going down dramatically. The books became shorter with less and less happening in each one. Too many characters were introcuced at poor times. It got to the point where the books were wholly unejoyable. Perhaps I would be able to get through them now as they are all out, but reading them as they were produced was a miserable undertaking that I eventually had to give up.

There only saving grace was a good story. If the story had been produced in three or four long books, with much more time inbetween books to allow for a higher quality in the writing and storyline, I would most likely have something more postive to say.

A Christian author that I enjoy much more is Frank Perretti. He does not write bad books a mile a minute to make millions, but writes books that require a large amount of thought and tell a good story.
