CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

She looked at him strangely, like he was talking gibberish... she got scared and spooked. She stood up quickly and looked around, there were people all around her closing in. She fell to her knees and covered her head screaming and crying. Thinking they were going to beat her now.

Scott motioned for the people to back away he got down on his knees with her and started praying "God this is my second time talking to you and I just wanted to pray for this girl God please open her eyes to see you and your way Lord I dont know what she has done but please lead her in your name I pray amen" with that he stayed down there with her

Her body shook from fear, she didn't know how he knew she was a bad person, but he knew. She knew he was going to turn him back over to her brother she she shook covering her head. Naive and scared, knowing she had no where else to go.

She stared at the ground, unsure of what to do. Her teeth started to chatter, her clothes torn and old were not keeping her frail bones warm anylonger. To weak to move she curled into a ball on the ground and rocked back and forth.

Scott just sat there he decided to talk to her "ok you dont have to talk to me if you dont want to i'll just talk when I was a little younger then you my parents and my brother died I felt guilty and angery at the world i've been living on my own since then and after the rapture I had no one to loose I didnt really have any friends so I decided to go check on a girl I had met once and she was nice to me but besides that i'm alone." he was surprised he had talked to her about that he hadnt really talked to anyone about it in a while

he just sat there he found it easy to talk to her especially since she didnt talk back or judge him for it he noticed her shaking from the cold he took off his sweater and gave it to her "thats to keep you warm but if you dont want it its ok too ill just leav it right here for you" he patted the sweater right next to her

Charlie stared upward toward the sky. It was dark, almost to dark, she sat up, looking around again. Why were all these people out so late she thought to herself. Her stomach growled loudly, she looked over at Scott embarrassed.

Scott heard her stomach growl "are you hungry?" he asked "because I have food at home I live a couple of blocks from here but if you want we can go into the church and look for food just shake your head yes or no if you want food."
