"Well, I highly doubt he disappeared but he could have. Let me go get that bible," she said walking out of the room into her hall closet where they kept games and things. She thought she stashed a bible in here somewhere. There it is. The dusty old thing.
"I found it." She said, wiping the dust off.

ok I might be wrong but maybe we should move up or ages to at least 18

(D, Ellesar went to have lunch she said shed be back in a jiffy...))

 

[Ellesar]

"Can I see it?" Kadyn asked quietly, reaching for the Bible.

 

[thecarlyjean]

She handed it to her.
"here, NIV i believe" she said not knowing if it made a difference or not.

 

[Ellesar]

"Thanks." Kadyn took the Bible and opened it to Revelation, trying to find out something about what had happened.

 

[thecarlyjean]

"finding anything? I dont anything about the Bible so I cant help you really."

 

[Ellesar]

Kadyn sighed in frustration and closed the Bible. "I can't find anything. Let me look again." She opened the Bible to the back and looked in the concordance to see if she could find anything. She found something that looked promising and turned there. After reading silently for a few moments she said quietly, "I think I've found something."

"ooh what is it?"

 

[Ellesar]

"1 Thessalonians 4:17 says, 'After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever.'"

"So all of the people who disappeared met God in the sky? Why only certain people?"

 

[Ellesar]

Kadyn closed the Bible quietly. "I suppose that the people who disappeared where Christians."

 

[thecarlyjean]

"But i thougth you were a CHristian. And is there any hope for us now?"

 

[Ellesar]

"I was different than the rest of my family..." Kadyn said quietly. "I had never actually accepted Jesus into my heart. So I guess that I was just pretending to be a Christian. I don't know if there's any hope left, but I sure hope so. Maybe someone from my church was left behind too. Maybe we can find some answers there." I shouldn't be angry at God. It was my fault that I was left behind...

"Maybe, we should go to your church tomorrow. I doubt we have school. Maybe someone will be there." She said. This was making somewhat of sense except the fact that Kadyn didnt go. Kadyn was as close as a Christian that Rebekah knew of. It was confusing. A fake Christian? I dont want to be a fake one so I need to find out how to be a real one.

Kadyn sat in quiet contemplation, still holding the Bible. She was angry at herself for not accepting the truth when she had known about it. Kadyn was close to tears again, and she bit her lower lip as her shoulders slowly began to shake with sobs.

"Kadyn its okay. Your quote 'God of love' has to give us a second chance. He wouldnt love us if he didnt. I dont know much about him but I have always heard he loves me for who I am. So if he loves me. THere must be a second chance." She said. She embraced Kadyn and Scott sat there teary eyed. She wondered about him. Why was he here of all places? They barely knew eachother. She had a class with him in school.He sat silent.
