Faith stepped toward meekly. She remembered him from a youth convention and she was one of the only ones who didn't come forward...

"H-Hi..." Faith replied, hoping he wouldn't recognize her.

"Thanks." Faith said smiling. "What do we do now?" Faith replied staring out the window. "We can't hide and we don't know who will listen honestly or who will tell us off..."

"Our purpose here is to spread the word. To let others know that God has a reason for putting us through this. That He's trying to get our attention. To tell them that He's giving them a second chance. We have to tell others, no matter what." Bruce explained. "And I recommend that we keep up with our studies and do everything we can to stay strong, spiritually. The next 7 years are gonna be pretty rough."

"And I think that we should keep a close eye on that Nicolae guy. I have a gut feeling that he's not what he seems to be." Diedre added.

Having lost track of the other person who had exited the church, Mike made his way back home. He let himself in because his parents were on a business trip. Both of them worked for the U.N., although what they did, Mike wasn't sure of.
Mike went to his room, popped open his laptop, and checked his email. Surprisingly, he found a new message from his mother.

Mike,
I'm so sorry I have to tell you like this, but all the phone lines are down where I am at the moment. On our trip to London, our plane was turned around because of the disappearances. We got off the plane and started to go home. Your father said he thought he knew what had happened, but wanted to tell both of us at once. Now I'll never get to find out what he thought.
Your father never made it back. He was caught in the hurricane.
Mike, your father is dead.

Those words were like a knife to Mike's heart.
"Dad.. dead?" he muttered in disbelief, tears clouding his vision.
And what was this about him knowing what had happened? Mike couldn't help but think that his Christian cousin was from his dad's side of the family, which used to be quite religious.
Had his father become a Christian before his death? If so, where was he now?
Once again his soul began to rise, and this time the mind could do nothing about it.
He needed to find the answers his father had found, but felt in no state to go walking back to the church. Besides, he hadn't bothered to remember where it was.
Mike slowly walked towards the telephone. He looked in around for the phone book.
His mind said it was foolish. He didn't know the name of the church, and how did he know if this place even had a phone?
But he went on. He found the phone book, but instead of going through the pages, he closed his eyes and opened it to a random page.
The New Hope Church was the first number that caught his eye.
He slowly dialed the number, and hoped, possibly even unknowingly prayed, that he had the right place.

"Come on," MIke urged the dialing phone, "Come on!"
Finally, a female voice answered, "Hello?"
Mike was glad he had gotten through, and then thought about what he was going to say.
And then the thought came to him. That girl. The one who had almost convinced him. If he had the right church, she was who he needed to speak to.
"Umm.." he said, trying to remember her name, "is there a... Diedre there?"
"One moment," the woman said.
***
The woman who had answered the phone(don't remember her name, but she was in the books) put it down gently and walked away for a moment. She went to the people and began asking around. She then saw Pastor Barnes and two girls talking, so she came up to them and said, "Excuse me, but would either one of you be Diedre?"

Bio

Name – Cody Mason

Age – 16

Height – 5’11”

Hair Color - Dark Brown

Eye color – Green ( I know almost everyone is green, but I have green contacts lol )

Time of Rapture – I’m going to do a kind of flashback deal, so my story will explain it.

**Cody sat on his bed, not crying, not thinking, just… sitting. He head his parents screaming in the background. Even after what had happened they couldn’t find time to stop yelling at each other. Cody wasn’t even sure they were aware of what had happened. He thought back to yesterday morning, everything had been going so well! His girlfriends parents were out of town, so Cody had gone over and stayed the night with her. Partially to make her feel better, partially to make him feel better. But mostly, to get away from his parents. The screaming at all hours of the night was enough to drive him to tears, which was the way he fell asleep most nights. He remembered that being an excellent night, just him and her. Then, the next morning, he and Sarah had skipped school. They had been making out in the Kitchen when Sarah’s parents came home a day early. He could still see them coming in the door and stopping when they saw there daughter and Cody, then, they were gone. Sarah started screaming and Cody just stared in shock. He had grabbed Sarah and held her close, afraid that she might disappear too. She broke away and ran out of the room, so Cody knelt by the clothes lying on the floor. He could still smell Sarah’s moms perfume, her dads cologne. Cody gasped when he saw there contacts and tooth fillings, he couldn’t take any more and ran out the door As he ran he saw pandemonium every where, but he didn’t stop running until he got home. He figured his dad was still sleeping since he worked third shift, but he was surprised to see his mom, sitting in the living room, watching TV. “Mom?” no answer. “Mom?” he asked again still no answer, Feeling alone and scared Cody realized he had left Sarah by herself. He started walking back to her house, this time taking time to see what was going on around him. He saw cars piled on top of each other, crashed into houses. A cement truck had crashed into a semi carrying gasoline, and the intersection was a huge ball of fire. When he got back to Sarah’s house he didn’t see her anywhere. He noticed that the TV was on, he flipped through the channels, noticing that the news was the only thing on. “Sarah!” he called. Not hearing a answer he started to panic and raced up stairs to her Bedroom.. He burst into her restroom and found her, lying on the floor clutching her parents clothes to her chest. He breathed a sigh of relief. “Sarah, you ok?” he asked. When she didn’t answer, he knelt beside her and touched her shoulder. He screamed when she fell to the ground, a knife sticking out of her chest. Cody backed away, gurgling noises coming from his throat as he tried not to scream again. He raced out to his car that he had left the first time he left and raced back home, were he had been sitting on his bed ever since.

Now, as his parents yelling continued Cody got up and walked out. He wasn’t sure were he was going but he knew he had to get away. An hour later he looked up and realized he had made his way to Sarah’s house again. Steeling himself he forced himself to go inside. He slowly made his way upstairs and into Sarah’s room, but her body was gone, along with most of the valuables. Cody noticed a piece of paper in the corner of the bathroom were Sarah had been. Hoping it was a note from her he grabbed it and opened it up. He tried not to let it disappoint him when he realized it was just some sort of religious paper. About to toss it away, something caught his eye. It was the word “diapearance.”

(( I will write more tomorow, I'm so tired right now! Sorry! ))

((continuation))

He stopped when he saw that word, could it be a coincidence? He opened up the paper more and started to read it. The whole thing was about Jesus coming back for his "chosen" people, or somthing. It didnt make much sense to Cody. All he knew was that he was hurting deep inside, and he knew he had missed out on somthing big. He just wasnt sure what yet. Turning the paper over he saw that it came from the church that Sarah's parents went to.

Sara had gone just to keep her parents happy, but she told Cody that she d it. The church was so full of hypocrits she said. Several of the kids in the youth group went to there school, and acted like every other teenager in the school, but Sarah said that at the church they pretended to be "Holy."

Cody had only been to church once, when he had stayed the night at his grandparents house, they had taken him to church on sunday. He remembered sitting in a hard pew for 2 hours listening to an old man talk in a monotone voice, none of what he was saying making any sense to him.

Now staring at that paper Cody decided to go see if anyone was left at the church. He looked for an address and found one in the lower right corner on the back. Taking one last look around at the house, he set off, knowing he would never be back.

After an hour of driving and picking through a maze of traffic, Cody finally reached the church. There was only one person outside, a crying and talking to herself. Cody slowly walked torwards her...
