Learning Languages

I was wondering what languages we all speak here. I understand (I think) that most every Muslim needs to know Arabic. Same for Jews speaking Hebrew. Are there other languages learned for religion?
Also are there any Christians here that have learned Arabic?

Although in my youngerdays I've studied Spanish, French and German as well.

Some Christians like to learn Latin, Hebrew and Greek for obvious reasons.

Also are there any Christians here that have learned Arabic?

I'm attempting too.... I just have this little thing called college in the way.

I speak English and Japanese, however, there was no language needed to learn for my tradition.....it is beneficial to have a grasp on the Sansrit language however.

Or rather Pali, I believe. The Tripitaka and other Buddhist texts are in Pali, not Sanskrit.

English (not american, mind you ) and French. I'm also finishing up my Latin studies, next will be Sumerian. What is it with my fascination with dead languages?

Yes, well of course i speak english, but i love to study and learn other languages I know spanish pretty well, i am learning swahili, i know some(frases)in farsi, russion, french,hebrew, and i have some greek here, but not memorized. I like languages like cookies,lol. (i am a missionary, so it helps)
