sooo, according to 70x7, which process is impossible?

Polymers, replicating polymers, protobiotic, or the hypercycle?

is he a doctor?

if not, why argue?

Its only worth arguing if the one you're arguing with has a PhD or some kind of degree and can back up his claims with knowledge.

Best response of the rebutals goes to...
"Can we just get past the deal about "something cant come from nothing" at least?"

NO!!!!!! THATS WHAT THE ENTIRE CONCEPT IS ABOUT!!!!!!!

I'll try a different approach; every example of evolution (perhaps even every example in all of science) is an example of "something coming from something else". You keep asserting "something cannot come from nothing", as if the assertion were a refutation of evolution, but it isn't. Whether your assertion is true or false, it doesn't apply to evolution, which is why people are asking for you to get past it (or explain why its relevant).

(Contact is a great movie isn't it?)

Contact? shudder I guess we disagree about more than just evolution :D

I see Occams Razor as being the answer to Creation. Not one against it. With God, the answer is so simple!!!!

Unfortunately it doesn't. If Reality itself can be eternal, an eternal God is rendered redundant, and ought to be discarded by application of Occam's principal.

Saying God is also bound to the "something before nothing" phrase is a contraction in itself. God is outside all of us and all that we know.

Let's try a different approach; show me evidence or examples of "nothing" which existed before "something". Show me why this argument applies to the theory of evolution.

That mind blowing concept needs to be realized before the debate can even go further.

What you are saying here is, "accept my assertion as fact, and then everything else will fall into place for you". Why should anyone do that? (BTW, This is always the first step towards indoctrination into a cult... Hey, I'm just sayin' ;))

That is the basis of Creation. In the beginning there was God. PERIOD. Nothing created God. He always was, is, and ever shall be. Its like asking what the color red smells like? Smell and color do not fit together logically...just like the question of Gods orgins. (I know, its a tough concept and it blows minds, but if you think that every answer for all time can be found with what we know as humans, you are sadly mistaken).

Again, this is assertion without explanantion, and certainly without evidence. We're five page in now, and is that all you have; your personal conviction that this is true? Sorry, 70x7, but that's inadequate and unconvincing...

I also know that a hardened heart is not asking for answers, but merely attempting to devalue and ridicule another.

Not at all. If you can move past mere assertions, and show us some substance behind these assertions, everyone stands to benefit (yourself included). I'm urging for you to move past mere statements of faith ("God is eternal!!!" "Something cannot come from nothing!!!!" *yawn*), and offer reasoned arguments for their basis.
Or, if you don't have a reasoned basis, recognize that and attempt to develop one, or recognize that maybe there is no reasoned basis to be had... your pick.

Merry Christmas!

Happy New Year!
