I am the worship leader of a music group at our small, radical, family church. We are in desperate need of a lead guitarist!!!! We play lots of spontaneous, spirit-led music and often write our own songs. Guitarist must know basic music theory and be able to improvise. If you are sick of religeon and truly desire to see God's will performed in these lasts days, then I would love to hear from you.

Lead guitarists are almost always cocky and overrated, I know that is a sterotype but when looking for a lead player it's almost always what you get.

Overrated? Why is that? My guitar teacher is the lead guitarist of our churches Worship Team, and he isn't cocky. Actually, he holds back his talents so that the people in the church will Worship GOD instead of focussing on his playing. I think the statement you just made was harsh, and very oppinionated.
