Well i havent heard about it so far, so i will continue to use the holy oil to anoint me and my family....
i really feel the annoiting by the holy oil which is blessed by our holy priest and is used as a source for annointing and protection:)

I agree. I have tried to find out more about this but none of my Catholic Charismatic friends have heard anything either.

By the way, during my healing from lung cancer, I blessed myself, over my lung area every night with blessed oil as I prayed for healing.
It will be 5 years in 3 months and my doctor has declared me cured and taken me off all my meds. He also said the main reason I survived this ugly disease was my FAITH!

Yep, I will continue to use my blessed oil until I am ordered not to. My little bottle has been blessed by 6 different priests. Oh and another thing, I have been told that as the oil is used, you may add more olive oil and it is still fully blessed.

That's amazing Sister! I'm currently using it to help fight my depression--- sealing myself for my Lord and all that He wants for my life. :)

I truly wonder how the faith of doctors are affected by God's faithful and when we're healed only because of His will. ^_^

I can tell you that the Doctors who specialize in treating cancer are very aware of the Power of faith.
One of my doctors, the Radiation Oncologist told me that there had been a blind test in San Francisco on Prayer. A group of cancer patients were split in half. Half were prayed for daily and faithfully. The other half were not. The results were that the ones prayed for had as high or higher cure rate as they were getting with chemo and much much higer than the folks who were not prayed for and were receiving traditional treatments.
I do not remember all the details but that is about it in a nutshell.
