God said let there be light, and imposed order on the universe.
Keep the Sabbath and you impose order on your use of time.
Tithe and you impose order on your finances.
Staying away from unclean food, you allow for good health as a duty to yourself and those around you.
Sharing the word, you get people into the kingdom.

Most people have an issue with following rules, yet there are plenty of blessings to be had by learning to obey God, for our sake and for the sake of others around us.

The rules aren't the point though. It doesn't matter what may or may not occur as a result of following the rules. The Bible does contain some pretty strict rules, but even Christians who follow the ten commandments strictly may not choose to follow all the levitical laws or Jewish festival laws or purity laws. And if you did it wouldn't help you one iota when it comes to salvation. The Bible also contains messages which speak very forcibly against following the rules. Galatians is one book that is full of such messages. "So if the Son sets you free, you are really free!" (John 8:36, emphasis mine). Freedom is not the absence of authority or rules, but the ability to self-govern. The rules may exist. They may even be helpful sometimes, but the point is not to follow the rules to get what is good. The point is to know what is right and to do what is right, simply because it is right. Only God can really know or control the outcome of our lives, so instead of being concerned about following the rules for the sake of the outcome, why not just do what you believe to be morally right and stop worrying about anything else?

Reading scriptures from Genesis 12 proves that God gave a promise to Abraham without giving him the same law given Moses. True or False?
So, Paul was biblically accurate to state that 'the law' which was 430yrs after the promise. (if it was given 430yrs earlier with the promise) would have nullify the promise (by making it a conditional and meaningless promise.
Gal 3:17

And this I say, that the covenant, that was confirmed before of God in Christ, the law, which was four hundred and thirty years after, cannot disannul, that it should make the promise of none effect.

About tithes, which laws are still valid? Is it just the money that I have to give every month to the church or is it my produce as well? Or can I buy booze and all the stuff my heart desires every once in a while?
