lava lamps

Dang it, it was supposed to be a poll! oh well...

What do you think of lava lamps? love 'em, hate 'em, indifferent?

I have one I'm bringing it with me to school. Mine is blue with white lava, what's yours look like?

Lava lamps are ok - I don't actually have one, but my friend does,and it's fun to watch, but after about 15 minutes I get kinda bored

I have one! It's purple and silver with purple lava. It looks so neat in the dark.

We weren't allowed to have them in our dorms in college...my roommated didn't know that and first day there got in trouble for it! I was actually grateful they made her remove it. For some odd reason, I can't look at lava lamps...can't explain why, one of those freak of nature type things, but they give me aweful migraines.

/me goes to pout because cool lava lamps make her sick.

Love them. My daughter got one for her 12th birthday and I stole it and put it in the downstairs den/tv room. It's pink with yellow lava. We turn it on whenever we have movie night!!!

I got one for christmas when I was younger. Blue with white lava. But I don't ever turn it on anymore... It sits here but I'm not even sure if its plugged in heh.

I love them, but I can't own one No place to plug it in (my room's rather small and all the available outlets are in use), plus for some reason my mother doesn't like them.

I'm probably going to buy one if I ever live on my own. -^.^- Although that's pretty low on my list with all the other things I want to buy should I live on my own.
