I have heard in many different SDA churches of the outpouring of the Holy Spirit for the Last days known as the "Latter Rain", Ellen White mentions it, and evertime I hear it, it's always future context.
I believe yes for sure the spirit is going to be poured out in the last days but as ADVENTISTS and believing in the IMMINENT return of Jesus Christ how much further in the future could this possibly be?? And even the example of early/latter rains in terms of growing crops examples you should know that there are always showers of rain between the two, so if you are an empty vessel you will most definately be filled to overflowing.
There are also great moves of God around the world at this very moment so don't be like the Jews the first time round looking far off and missing the boat.
