CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Yes, it's nice to have a private place...but this is the internet and as long as the board owner allows anybody to stroll in to the wof forum and ask questions...we must be ready to give an account as to why we believe the way we do....without malice towards someone asking a sincere question (obviously), but also without malice towards those that are just messin with Sasquatch so to speak (wof people are giants as far as the devil is concerned because we represent the biggest threat to the kingdom of darkness...which is, living like Jesus did when He was here on Club Earth)
So, sometimes it's best to sow good seeds towards those that oppose themselves and believe God for a hundred fold return on those seeds.
That hundred fold return works in every area of our Christian walk, and is especially useful for those that minister God's Word....everyone I share the Word with gets set free and ends up in Heaven...because God is well able to keep that which I've committed unto Him such as believing for people to be saved and set free!
Saved and free...is there any other way to be???

i agree with you KM,
everything you say is right.... but this WOF forum WAS set up as a faith family site.... there is an expectation of peace and safety..... and the rules have been put in place to keep it that way...... and the rules have been enforced at various times..... if there were no such rules here.... then we WOULDN'T have this kind of expectation here.... but there are.....
so why not take advantage of the awesome rules that are just ready and waiting for us to ENJOY..... kind of like the BLESSING that kcm keeps talking about..... the BLESSING is there for whosoever will.... if we don't take GOD up on HIS offer.... we miss the provision HE has for us..... and actually the rules KEEP the peace..... there is no need to accept anything less here.....
we are blessed here.....CF has the most awesome rules...... they want EVERYONE to be blessed and grow here..... there are other "JERRY SPRINGER" type forums where people can act as badly as they please..... and enjoy themselves..... if you can think of bad public behavior as enjoyable...... but that is why sooooo many people are switching over to CF...... they are finding a better atmosphere here..... based on the fact that CF enforces their high quality rules.....
on the internet EVERYONE can find the kind of quality or lack of quality they are looking for...... i for one am VERY BLESSED that CF stands higher in the quality department than what ever else is out there.....
i think we should try to honor and preserve what CF is trying to do..... i don't think we should settle for less......
don't you find the Presence of GOD and the love and unity and peace here WAY better than any other christian sites out there?
let's hold to the best standards..... the CF leadership is working extremely hard to set them high.....

I agree....regardless of what happens, IN HIM we will always find Peace and Safety, Selah...
I know what you mean tho...unfortunately, the rules will always be challenged and the forum does allow anybody to come in and ask questions...and some of those questions are not going to be for the purposes of seeking truth but will be gendering strife.
I'm sure the mods will do a good job deciding when a line has been crossed...

can people get saved in the middle of a riot?.... i'm exagerating of course..... but don't people respond better to GOD and HIS WORD when HE is present?....
if we do EVERYTHING in our power to keep peace.... then the hearers of the WORD can be blessed to hear and receive in HIS awesome loving Presence.....
if we HAD to endure rioting.... then GOD WOULD find a way to minister through all that..... so yes.... what you are saying is true..... the WORD works even under extreme conditions like paul talked of...... but thank GOD we have extremely GOOD conditions here....
and i don't think we should let the devil trick us into thinking we HAVE to let him run around here..... NO WE DON'T...... CF had the GODLY sense to prepare for that kind of thing by setting up EXCELLENT rules and also allowing each faith forum to set up their own suplimentary house rules.....
KM.... i very much appreciate your strength in HIS WORD..... and high standards of morality and integrity....
i love what you are saying about motives.... and the POWER available to us in EVERY circumstance...... the WORD WORKS always...... yes and amen.....
you are a blessing here..... iron sharpens iron..... you make me think..... and re-examine what i am thinking and believing...... ps. i am chewing on the 100 fold working in every area..... never thought of applying it to social interaction problems.... going to go pray and meditate some more on that one..... it's a new and exciting way to apply the 100 fold return....

they do actually.... yes..... especially when we make it really clear when we report a post WHY the person we are reporting is breaking the house rules.....
we have to make it really clear which WOF core beliefs and values are being debated..... usually though it shows up in the attitude the debater/attacker uses...... WOF will discuss passionately amongst ourselves.... we agree on the core values/beliefs.... and just want to get sharper.....
an attacker just wants to debate and tear down..... because he vehemently DIS-AGREES with WOF core values and beliefs.....
2 different spirits..... one wants to grow and help others to grow.....
the other wants to attack and destroy.....
sometimes hard to tell..... but usually not..... usually the lack of love and respect and caring is evident..... except when someone is hurt.....
when someone speaks out of a woundedness..... it sounds almost in the same spirit as an attacker..... so that is where the grace and love and patience you were talking about comes in..... vital to ALWAYS walk in grace love patience with EVERYONE..... no matter what..... so everything you have been saying is right on.....
