  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

So I've been sitting here reading my Bible and playing a few video games tonight and somewhere in the midst of it all, I had a thought that I figured I'd share with you all. Lemme know it it sounds too far :: out there:: If we believe that Jesus saw the sins of mankind when He was on the cross, and that bearing those sins was just as painful as the nails in His hands, then by avoiding sin, aren't we, in some way, easing the pain that Jesus suffered on the cross.......almost retro-actively? Does that sound crazy? I think its a wonderful thought though, to know that if we stay on track, we are doing it out of love for Him, for the purpose of easing the pain He endured........Tho maybe I've watched too many stark trek episodes dealing with temporal paradoxes. What do you all think?

And when we accept our sufferings, uniting it to His we are helping Him carry His cross and we are helping to save souls.
